"Stayed here 2 nights recently Superd accomodation . Fabulous views and stunning sunset in evenings. Excellent cleanliness and rooms have everything you need and are spacious and well decorated / furnished. Bed very comfy. Paula greeted us and was friendly and helpful but also respected our privacy and space. Room was cleaned each day. Really couldn't asked better place to stay. Extremely good value for views and service. Close to several lovely places to visit and eat out. So much choice Great base for Dubrovnik Several places can catch boat to Dubrovnik. Including one can walk to from apartment although are quite few steps involved. If less able do steps can drive and park up catch boat. Absolutely perfect ending to our holiday in Croatia and fully intend to return to same accomodation and stay longer."

"We had a wonderful 10 day stay at Villa Samba. Nikolai and Ana were so welcoming and Nikolai greeted us with a glass of his wine and provided us with so much useful information on the area including trips, transport, restaurants. We ate at King restaurant, a five minute walk away, on three occasions, each time the food was excellent. The accommodation at Villa Samba was wonderful. We were in apartment No 6 from where we enjoyed stunning sunsets on the balcony whilst enjoying a glass of wine. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and extremely well equipped for anyone who wanted to self cater. There's a bus stop five minutes away to go to Dubrovnik or Cavtat and buses ran from early morning until after midnight. Having read previous reviews, there was mention of a dog in the property next door continually barking. I have to say this was definitely NOT the case. The dog barked occasionally but never kept us awake and I am a very light sleeper. This wasn't a problem in any way and we would definitely return. Thank you for a great stay."

"Stunning view from the balcony and the pool. Clean & comfortable room. The owners have a garden with fresh vegetable and gave us some delicious tomatoes... but be aware that it is a place for people who have no issues with walking (to beach/ restaurant) or those who come by car. Definitely worth the money spent. However, there was no option to order breakfast on site which was the major disappointment. There are few restaurants in the area but you may need to make a reservation if you don't want to wait for an hour or longer for a table (Poseydon restaurant). The nearest restaurant (Konoba King) opens at 7pm...so if you do not stack your fridge (in the room) you may have a problem. There is a bus nearby (50m away) but it does not go according to schedule. Once it went 15 minutes ahead the time, the other time we were waiting 20 minutes...all in all, it was cheaper to travel by Uber (for a party of 3). The beach is nearby but there are over 200 steps up the hill on your return way and it is extremely overcrowded over the weekend."
