Hotel is very central and very bright and airy. Lots of areas to lounge around, and they have a ball pit for the little ones. Checking in was a shambles, even though I was the only one at reception i felt i was ignored and after 10 minutes one of the guys finally came over. We arrived at 1pm, and was told our room wouldn't be ready until 3pm. To think that people checking out from 12 and no room was available until 3pm was beyond me. By then the queue to check in was 30 deep. We were given room 464, a dingy little standard room which was far too small to be a double room, we were on top of each other. The bathroom was well fitted and the water pressure was good. Room 464 is in the corner of the hotel where all the bars are, so come 9pm music blear out until 12.00am every night. The balcony was like a postage stamp, it extended over a shop roof, however the wall between the balcony and the flat roof was about 20" high, so unsuitable for any small child. If u do decide to stay at this hotel, bring your own beach towel, if u don't, u will have to put a deposit of €15 per towel and if u decide to refresh the towel, u will be charged.......never heard of this before??? I understand the reason been they had lots of towels stolen in a month hence the reason for this. They have stickers now on the loungers advising everyone that if they reserve the loungers for more than an hour your stuff will be taken away........well, thats a lot of rubbish, its not policed, individuals still reserve there loungers and wonder off for hours on end. The pool area was very clean, and all 3 pools were heated....amazing. The food was very standard, they had themed evenings but the food was always the same with an exception of possibly roast pork, roast lamb and roast chicken thats added each night.
