＞Great, Immaculately clean, modern with lovey staff, good location. Recently (in the last year?) refurbished so everything is CLEAN and Modern. Both Rooms and grounds (inc neat AstroTurf that was very clean and slip free!) Table and chairs outside your door semi-private (some rooms surround the pool) Sunchairs around the pool (but still some 'towel savers' occurred-BAD!!) Big Warm proper swimming pool Big bedroom with mini fridge, Big clean bathroom with double walk in shower, very Hot and powerful water (rain and wand in the shower). Both rooms were modern, clean and fresh. White all round. Good comfortable (double) twin beds Very efficient air conditioning Big double wardrobe for hanging with hangers provided Kettle and Cups (some coffee pods upon arrival) Powerful Hairdryer Room was cleaned every day to a high standard (hang request tag on door) Grounds were cleaned every day ALL staff smiley and happy Reception staff said hello and acknowledged EVERY time, and were VERY helpful. Good, Quiet location Adults only resort so was quiet and peaceful why the minus -1 The safe is Three Euros PER DAY to hire (Expensive cost over two weeks -bad impression). The walk in shower needs a water lip, but the floor towel stops the trickle of water Sly News is the only British speaking TV channel (dozens of German!) Interconnect door (between adjoining apartments) whilst key locked it would be assuring to see a physical bolt lock on the door. Wifi was free and worked (eventually with help of the staff!) but was a very over complicated way to sign in ＞Sunbeds around the pool were' blocked' by the usual anti-social towel hogs - these SHOULD be removed by staff as there are not enough sunbeds on a sunny day. SUMMARY: The rooms and complex were on par with Four Star hotels we've stayed in Remove the silly little things (safe hire Fee, Retune the TV etc, stop sunbed blocking) and this would be a straight 100% tip; do not book with ******* as their fee does not include breakfast WOULD recommend to stay again :-)

This was a last minute holiday for my partner and myself. We had read a lot of reviews and almost did not book because of them. However, I’m not sure where most of these complaints are coming from. As far as noise, we didn’t experience that at all. We could hear the Yomba center slightly, but if we closed our balcony door, we could not hear a thing. We had the apartment with the kitchen and it worked out fine. The place does appear to be a little tired, but they are closing this next month for refurbishment. The bedroom was a bit tight but comfortable. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff was all very friendly. Bottom line I would say the place was basic, but had everything we needed for the price.

It is impressive how seriously the hotel takes the 3pm check in policy. The room I was given was the one on the far right and I had to walk a lot in the hotel because it's a huge hotel. There are also two flights of stairs. Didn't the front desk see me with my huge suitcase? Glad he might think I'm young. The gentlemen at the front desk are still very enthusiastic. The room is also big enough. The location of the hotel is also good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Yingren Beach. The hotel does not have a parking lot and needs to be parked on the side of the road. The breakfast is very rich.

Great hotel in Playa d‘Ingles. Superior hotel with a stylish interior. Great and nice staff. Excellent breakfast buffet in the roof top restaurant with a stunning view. Free parking offered. A lot of restaurant and bars are located in the Yumbo Center, a few minutes by foot from the hotel. Pools are heated and there was always free sunbeds available. Rooms are big and cleaned. The hotel is well maintained.

I have stayed at the AxelBeach numerous times, but sadly the refurbishment of the rooms means this was my last time. The refurbished rooms are oppressive and dingy – all the walls have been covered in a dark, depressing wallpaper, which is only broken up by white, cold lights. The stone floors have been covered with black linoleum, which looks depressing and dirty. The refurbishment is being done as cheaply as possible, leaving the colourful kitchen tiles intact and the bathroom mostly untouched. For some bizarre reason AstroTurf has been placed on the balcony floors. They have taken what used to be cheap-ish beach hotel rooms and given them a morgue/sauna makeover. This is really frustrating as, otherwise, the place remains pleasant – the pool is still great, the staff are lovely (Kevin, the receptionist, deserves a particular shout-out) and the gym has been re-done really well. The location is super handy as well.

Stayed here for a sunshine break after Christmas for a week which included New Years. The hotel has been recently renovated and we had a junior suite on the first floor. The reception staff, and all staff are really welcoming and friendly. The hotel feels modern and clean. The reception and pool area are relaxing and chic. We were bed and breakfast. The morning food on offer was good, standard breakfast fair. There was an omelette station which did nice fried ham and cheese sandwiches. There were a couple of items missing (apple juice / hash browns) but the fact you could drink fizzy wine with your breakfast made up for that. The other plus was the timings. Breakfast was from 7:30 - 11:30 and no one was checking us in. So you could have had two sittings if you wanted. A nice bonus. The maid service was great. Our room had a balcony with lounges on which got the sun all afternoon. Rooms had fridge / TV and everything you would expect from a four star. The hotel was near the yumbo (5min walk) and lots of nice restaurants. Head away from the centre and near Burger King there were lovely Chinese and tapas restaurants. The only negative is the proximity to the Axel Beach hotel next door. This is a ‘vibe friendly’ hotel. On both Saturday and Sunday they had a DJ from 12-6. The decks were adjacent to the pool area at this hotel. The music was horrendously loud. Noise cancelling headphones could not block it out. I couldn’t read or listen to my podcast. Even inside with the doors shut you could hear it. Now I am no prude or party pooper but this was club music with an ear splitting beat which isn’t nice for relaxing in the afternoons. I complained to reception (as half the hotel did) but they said as it was day noise they couldn’t do anything. I feel bad writing this as it’s not this hotels fault, but it did ruin two pool afternoons of a 7 day holiday so I have to mention it. We did shopping a Mogan Mall and visited the Dunes but other than that we came to relax. I had a blast it was great to spend new year celebrating at the Yumbo. This hotel has lots to offer. But be prepared for weekend noise in the day time if you do book.

A fantastic mix of modern and old. Some areas had been updated and modernised while some other areas were still dated. Room was clean and spacious, with a small balcony overlooking the pool. Bathroom was good with a shower that had 2 head options. some good complimentary bits in the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities in the room. The bar has half self service half barman, everyone was polite and friendly. The “snack bar” which is actually a room was by far the best I’ve seen. Actual restaurant meals were ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately desserts were a massive let down l, one evening there were 5 chocolate flavour puddings and the only alternative was strawberry mousse, so maybe a little variety would help. Breakfast was good and plentiful

This hotel is really lovely, I would 100% stay again. Ignore all the negative comments as we didn’t many faults with the hotel. Staff - amazing, so friendly upon arrival and very accommodating. Pool area - pool opens at 10am, don’t really have a problem getting a sun bed as there is a lot of sun beds available. Food - didn’t have any complaints at all, a lot of variety of meats, cheeses, snacks, drinks, vegs & fruit! Entertainment - can’t really comment on the entertainment however when we did walk over there, there wasn’t much going on and looked pretty boring. I did speak to other guests and they also felt the entertainment was lacking. One thing is it would be nice if the hotel keet the restaurant bar open for longer so guests can get late night drinks by smoking area / pool rather than walking around to where the entertainment is. Room - amazing, very spacious room! It would be nice if the “double bed” was actually a double bed and not two single beds pushed together. I would not recommend cuddling with your partner in bed as you will fall down the gap in the middle! The balcony was okay, there was two chairs however no table. Location - lovely location, 10/15 min walk to the beach surrounded by lots of restaurants/irish bars around. Overall, the stay at this hotel was nice and I would return!

Gebucht war ein Standard-Doppelzimmer mit Blick auf die Berge mit 4 Übernachtungen. Die Zimmer waren sauber, die Ausstattung im Schlafbereich renovierungsbedürftig, das Badezimmer sauber und zweckdienlich. Auf dem Balkon (5 Etage) herrschte aufgrund der Nähe zur Straße ein gewisser Geräuschpegel welcher sich nach dem verschließen der Balkontür aber im Zimmer nicht wiederspiegelt. Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) war warm und lecker. Die Auswahl an Speisen mehr als ausreichend. Den Poolbereich habe ich nicht benutzt war aber vom optischen Eindruck sehr gut. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut da man in nur wenige Minuten fußläufig den Strand erreichen kann. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind alle Richtungen schnell und einfach zu Fuß zu erreichen. Weitere Ausstattung (Fitness, Friseur, Fahrradverleih ect.) waren wie beschrieben vorhanden wurden aber von mir nicht genutzt. Ein Transfer vom bzw zum Flughafen sollte vorher rechtzeitig seperat über die Webseite des Hotels gebucht werden. Eine Buchung an der Rezeption ist nicht möglich.
