Maria Plomari Apartments

First of all, I have never written a review before until now... We booked our trip via Apollo and this hotel was our selection. So grateful for everything, and I mean everything with this hotel. The staff helped us with whatever we asked for and it all felt very genuine. The rooms are big with AC and felt fresh at the arrival. There was a nice balcony with a view over Plomari and the ocean. Nothing to say about the cleaning more than they put beautiful "animals" made of towels and really top notch work. The pool area was great with good temperature and a beautiful garden with plenty of chairs. So it never felt busy when people came to enjoy this area. Breakfast/lunch/diner at the hotel was made with passion for a good price. You will get a lot of food... So big plus! We had our daughter (on year old) and it all went fine with the climbing back and forward to the hotel. We also booked a taxi to and from the beach (7 euro for one trip). So my final words! This was my first review ever but from my visit it felt like a must! It's just great! Lykke with family!

This is a wonderful place. The apartment was very well-appointed and came with a stunning view from the large balcony. The service cannot possibly be faulted. Ioannis was so warm, friendly, helpful and polite. The apartment was cleaned daily to the highest standard. The landscaped public areas were spotless, and the pool area was so clean and beautifully maintained. The reception was well-stocked and good value. Everything was beautiful. Also, the place was so quiet and calm, but just a short stroll to the town centre. Thank you Maria's Apartments for a wonderful stay. We thoroughly recommend it to everyone.

My trip to Plomari was spontaneous. We chose the first best trip! I'm so glad we ended up in Plomari. We had a super nice, fresh and clean hotel with fantastic staff. Everyone was so nice and provided a high level of service. 10 out of 10 Possibility to cook was available. And what a wonderful view. There we ate our delicious fresh breakfast every morning. Good and quiet area. The pool area was nice and it had its charm with all the olive trees and greenery around Drinks were available at the reception, which was open to all guests, just go in and collect and sign up. The hotel was of a high standard, could have been a 4 star and the price nothing to complain about. I really wasn't anything to complain about, just good things to say. It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. We want to come back next year and stay longer.

This is the third time we stay at Maria's Apartments in Plomari, and we are absolutely pleased with the place. The hotel is situated uphill in Plomari, near the beautiful beach Ag. Isidoros, and consists of the apartment building, beautiful gardens, a cobblestone road with sitting areas, an outdoor barbeque and dining area, pool area, a reception area with office for the hotel staff, showers and changing rooms for pool guests. We are a familiy of four, two adults, a teen, and a kid, and we had an apartment at the third floor, with a spectacular ocean view. The beds in the apartment are supercomfortable, and so are the pillows. The kitchen was well equipped, with a coffee maker and a fridge including freezer compartment. Everything is in good standard, and all solutions are well suited for the climate, in terms of having possibilities of air, sun and shade. There is also an option to order breakfast and other meals, as well as having delicious greek icecream at the icecream-bar by the reception-area. There are beautiful sitting areas outside the apartments which are built in a traditional greek style, and have bookcases with books for guests to lend, and maybe add new books to the small library collection. The pool area is pretty and always clean, the staff is professional and very nice, and the lovely gardens appear well maintained and flourishing. Because Maria's apartments are situated a bit uphill, the hotel might be best suited for travelers that enjoy a hike, which we do, so for us the distance from traffic was actually a plus. Our teenage daughter forgot her jacket at the apartment as we left with the travelling agency bus for the airport. As the bus was passing the beach, the traveling guide announced that we had to make a stop "because apartment … at Maria’s apartments had left their jacket" Giannis, the owner and manager, had gotten on his motorbike and reached the bus in order to give us her jacket! Such an extremely sympathetic and fast-minded person, and a gesture which speaks volumes of the friendly and professional attitude applied by him and all of his employees at Maria's apartments. We would highly recommend this place!

We stayed here from July 30th to August 6th 2023, in rooms 10 and 12. Two couples travelling together. Maria apartments in Plomari provided a first class service to us as guests that is rarely seen even in large chain hotels. Never in my life have i experienced this level of service in an apartment hotel. The amount of care and precision they put into your experience is incredible. The kitchen is open and visible to anyone, which is re-assuring. I have worked ten years in industrial kitchens, and I still have never seen one so spotless. The rooms were carefully and thoroughly cleaned every day, they even pulled out furniture and cleaned behind them every day. I would highly recommend a stay here. Its romantic, authentic, not overrun of tourists and the food is wonderful. In case someone from Maria apartments reads this and remembers us, the couple in room 10 got engaged by the pool on our last night. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Steep access by car but good parking on arrival. Large superclean room and bathroom, good quality bed and bedding. Lovely terrace view back to Plomari. Giannis, the obliging owner, has provided just about anything you could ask for, including decent WiFi. A really pleasant May overnight.
