Great central location for motorcycle touring in Pocahontas County (search online for brochure and map). Hosts are welcoming and friendly. Room was lovely and very clean. Excellent breakfast and variety of snacks available all day. Love the screened porch with plenty of comfy seating.

Fantastic inn near the base of Snowshoe mountain. Comfortable beds, great breakfast, lots of extra room, great hosts! We appreciated having a room with three beds for our family of four with two teenage boys. Hosts were so welcoming, we felt completely at home!

Arrive as guests and leave as friends. The family operating this hotel are the most congenial hosts we have ever encountered, setting the tone for all guests in the booked inn. We enjoyed the inn as much as a short getaway to wild, wonderful West Virginia where the kids could snowboard and we could enjoy the outdoors. The historic property is nestled between ridges and sits above a creek that features a giant split rock with a bubbling spring. We cannot wait to venture back when the seasons change.

We stayed at this fantastic Inn this past Thursday night . We were doing the Cass Mountain Railroad train ride next day. It’s only 30 minutes to the train station . It was snowing that night and our car couldn’t climb the slight hill to the inn but the owners made sure they drive down to the bottom to pick us up . Be aware though cell phone coverage is very low and you could have no service but the hotel will tell you how to log in to a system to have it once your inside the inn . The owners Staci and Nathan were exceptional hosts. The lobby was decorated for Christmas beautifully and had a roaring fire in the fireplace going. After a long tedious drive over the mountains in snow the wine They had for us was most appreciated . Our room was so spacious , comfortable and the hospitality impeccable. We are planning on riding the Cass Mountain fall foliage train and we are definitely going to book our room at the Morning Glory Inn and I recommend you do as well .

We've traveled all around the country and I don't think we've ever felt as graciously, genuinely welcomed as we did at Morning Glory. We will definitely stay here anytime we're in the area. Our room was huge and equipped with anything you might need. The bathroom was shiny clean and looked recently renovated. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it with us. They do a wonderful job making this place home, if only for a night. I can't recommend them enough!

We absolutely loved it here! From the clean and spacious rooms to the friendly and welcoming people, we wouldn't have stayed anywhere else on the mountain! The owners communicated well with us and made sure we always had what we needed! 20/10 would recommend anyone there! Also, the food and family environment was priceless! Its about 15 minutes from Snowshoe mountain

Rose and Mark. From Brazil and UK. We are on a road trip across the US and decided to go off the beaten track and visit West Virginia. We were welcomed by both Stacy and daughter Savannah and Stacey's brother Scott. If you are looking to chill out and get away from the smoke and chaos of the big city then this is the place for you. Just a short 15 minute drive up to the Snowshoe resort for activities, bars and restaurants. And not far from the Cass historic railway. We were well looked after and would love to return in the winter when the snow comes. Thanks a lot and hope to visit again soon.

Staci and Savanah are friendly hosts at Morning Glory Inn. They have created a very meticulous and comfortable home for their guests. It was a relaxing stay. The art work and photos around the house are well done and the hummingbirds are amazing.

The Morning Glory Inn is a warm, friendly & very comfortable place. Our room was large with a wonderful king-size bed. Staci provided everything a guest could want or need - all the little details that make you feel at home. The home-cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a complimentary evening drink on the front porch while watching the hummingbirds and butterflies. Overall a wonderful and relaxing retreat. We would definitely like to return.
