Casa Della Nonna Polignano a Mare

The description of the room is misleading as the kitchenette and the outdoor area are not part of your room, but a common area for all of the rooms. There are 3 separate sleeping rooms at Cassa delle Nonna and apprently we got the one not shown in any of the pictures. Large bed was made but had no blanket, just sheets. The single bed was made with the blanket but had not sheets or pillow case. All of the accessories in the room, i.e. the desk, headboard, etc were made out of pallets and were very outdated. The bathroom was updated and nice other than the hot water in the shower was limited. You got nice hot water for a short period of time then it went luke warm. The restaurant they offered breakfast at was a short walk, maybe 8 blocks and had good food and coffee but was extreamly busy and seating was limited but we got a table right away both days.

Breakfast place was fantastic and the amenities were great. The owner was friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again for sure!

We loved the location , you can easily walk into town but we tried to use the shops bars around us . Great value and wonderful friendly people. There is world class bakery / patisserie along the road turn left on the main St. The owner met of the apartment is very obliging & helpful. The apartment was spotless clean & has mostly everything you need , maybe a wee bit of updating would enhance. I would 100% stay again great price excellent location.

Parking was outside apartment, but not easy in town. Area is locals mostly, tourist stay in downtown mostly.

Stay here with the nicest host in Polignano a Mare Francesco runs an organized, charming an comfortable establishment. He is accessible at all times for advice or help and his rooms and common areas are very serviceable. Expect a classic Italian breakfast just up the street at Chocolate Caffe where the owners take great care of the Casa della Nonna guests. The rooms are a bit on the rustic side, but the bed is comfortable and fresh towels are always available. A communal kitchen provides a real refrigerator for your food or leftovers and a cute courtyard in back gives you a nice outdoor space. There is a good deal of street and overhead noise (upstairs neighbor?) but parking is right in front. Of course, the city is super charming.

The place is dreamy and on a street where there is a LOT of night life but once you were inside the property you could not hear the crowds! Host was very friendly and fulfill our requests when we needed something. We will for sure keep this place in mind for future visits.
