Excellent experience. We were lucky to be upgraded to the much better room with big terrace and seaview. Everything is just super - service, spa, breakfast, overall atmosphere.

The location, the hotel, the unique beach — it was an absolutely stunning, paradise-like place. The rooms, the service — I would honestly say not just 5 stars, but 7 stars! The pillows, the bedding, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, the view, the privacy — everything was top-notch. The beach was incredible, with comfortable sunbeds, spotlessly clean and brand-new mattresses, and perfectly maintained walkways. And the food was absolutely delicious. Truly exceptional in every way.

I stayed in Anassa numerous times. I can say with confidence that the hotel truly embraces and reflects the true spirit of hospitality to its guests. The hotel maintains a high level of customer service in all areas (from the reception, pool area, restaurants, etc). The hotel provides a large area of beautiful gardens and a stunning sea view experience which is truly remarkable. Anassa is one of the best options to stay for a luxury and memorable vacations.

Posh posh posh . However it’s not stuffy and the staff are very welcoming. Good parking and some beautiful sunsets on the terrace. Some nice cool drinks on very comfy furniture . What is not to like? The price may be? You do get what you pay for when you factor in the location, location location location is everything isn’t it

The Hotel The hotel is beautiful and serene, featuring a majestic main building with marble accents and well-maintained gardens. The main swimming pool is large and ideal for swimming. There is also a second, smaller pool that is warm but quite tiny. The beach has small pebbles; it would be nicer if it were sandy. There are both tennis and paddle courts available, which is a great feature. The spa offers excellent massages. The hotel is child-friendly; we have been staying there here with our 5-year-old son for 7 nights. The Room The room is spacious; however, the mattress was uncomfortable, and I experienced back pain throughout my stay. The Food The breakfast is extensive, featuring fresh, local ingredients. Among the restaurants, the poolside restaurant/bar offers the best service and good food. Helios serves excellent dishes—especially the foie gras pâté and chocolate tart—although the service can be inconsistent. Pelagos serves delicious grilled fresh fish, but the service is also mixed there. The Square Village is a fun way to explore local cuisine, and the live music and dancers make for a great experience. The Location The hotel is very well located, making it easy to take private tours of the Akamas Peninsula.

First off the hotel is beautifully situated and looks absolutely stunning. Lovely architecture with a picturesque backdrop. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel but it fell a little short of our expectations. The heated pools were absolutely lovely and never felt over crowded. A nice volume of music played in the background and there were always staff around to order drinks/food from. Not sure what was going on with the ordering system though as I don’t think I once received the correct bill. Watersports were plentiful if you wanted to ski, banana boat ride etc. which we did so. Our main gripe was the out dated rooms which lacked any warmth. A great big tv thrown on a side board in an awkward position. The beds looked at though they just had the duvet inner laid across them - no effort to make them look even the slightest bit appealing. These are the kind of rooms my late grandparents liked especially the bathroom which had a toilet with a phone on the wall and a bidet, just to highlight how outdated they are. Honestly the rooms were so disappointing and not in the slightest bit 5 star. We only ate at Helios restaurant and insisted on eating outside despite the weather as the interior is absolutely awful! Lacking any warmth or atmosphere despite a lady playing REM & Coldplay tunes on the Harp…again my late grandparents would have been at home here. Maybe I’ll feel more comfortable at this hotel when I’m post 60, but as a late 40’s couple with an 11 year old it lacked soul. All of the staff we interacted with were extremely pleasant. On requesting a late check out we were given a very definite “no” which was frustrating given the hotel seemed half empty, but understand another “conference” was checking in.

Bed bugs present at this resort Upon a local friend’s recommendation, we decided to give Anassa a try on our annual summer vocation. We booked a two bedroom suite and stayed for 6 nights. The resort is stunning and service prior to checkout has been nothing short of wonderful. The ground staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. For example, the blinds let in a lot of light in the morning so our young children woke up too early and with the slight jet lag, we weren’t well rested. When learned about this, the staff really went out of their way to fix that issue which we hugely appreciated. Service in restaurants and housekeeping was fantastic, we couldn’t fault it. However, all of this was ruined by our experience at the front desk upon checkout when I told them that I had woken up with multiple bites that looked like bed bug bites. Being someone really prone to bed bug bites, I’ve unfortunately been bitten multiple times and can easily identify the pattern of the bites. When I brought this to the front manager’s attention, he told me that this has never happened and that he was going to investigate it as it would be a serious issue. I was then offered to wait for them to investigate. I then told them that they may or may not find the bugs as they can easily disguise in mattresses or any small creases and even if they could not find any, the fact is that this happened at their hotel (we had not left the hotel), and therefore I should be entitled to some form of compensation. By that stage, the head of housekeeping was brought into the conversation to tell me that there was no way it could be bed bugs and perhaps I was allergic to their linen, which I found to be an almost insulting excuse as this was my sixth night staying there and any allergic reaction would have happened much sooner. Upon my husband showing them pictures of bed bug bites online, they once again denied me by saying my bites weren’t red enough be to bed bug bites (which they now have turned really red days later), which again was an uninformed and somewhat insulting response to my complaint. The manager also argued and spoke over me in a completely defensive tone. By that stage, I was flabbergasted and upset and ready to leave as I had two young children waiting and another resort to travel to. At any resort, a gesture of financial compensation of some sort would have been offered due to the fact this happened at their resort, whether bed bugs or ‘linen allergy’, but I was instead told it was impossible and that I was free to post whatever review I wanted, so here I am, writing an honest review. I know management will deny and say they tried everything to offer a solution such as finding me a doctor (not appreciating the delay would have caused us with two young children waiting) or sending us a meaningless and defensive email to cover themselves post our departure (which they did). It is up to guests to make their own judgement, and I wish this had neve

We returned for the first time since Covid to find The Anassa as wonderful as it ever was. The tranquility and beauty of the property are stunning. The atmosphere is one of quiet refinement. The real selling point is the quality of the staff. They are , without exception, welcoming and efficient . The level of customer care is second-to-none.
