"It was a shame that air conditioning was to be paid separately on an €8 per day basis.  Staff were welcoming. Shower system was not holding onto the unit whereas you have to hold in one had whilst taking a shower. Overall, I rate it average for an overnight stay is more than enough for my family. To be fair this is only my opinion. My comment should not be a discouragement.  Try it out for your own experience."

"Had to write a review about our stay at Eliofos! We found the staff so very helpful and generous with their efforts. The maisonettes were spotless and equipped with everything we needed. The aircon worked great. The location was perfect for us, a stones throw away from the beautiful ocean and a little walk away to where you can buy beds/umbrellas and showers. Location for us is perfect here as it’s not too busy and with just short drives to the supermarket and Latsi harbour. Overall this accommodation was excellent value for what was for us a perfect holiday"

"We booked an afternoon tea at the Anassa for a birthday treat for 4 of us. I made it clear at the time of booking it was for a birthday. When we arrived, I had to go searching for a member of staff. When we sat at a table in the shade the table was filthy and had bird droppings on it. When the waitress arrived and gave us the menu I was mortified. The afternoon tea consisted of 2 types of sandwiches - one of which my husband doesn’t like, some scones and a few cakes. We took one look at it and decided to leave. The place was miserable, no service as such and just abysmal. They charge €40 per head for afternoon tea but the choice was appalling. Never again! We can go to our local garden centre for half the price and everything is amazing. Anassa - no choice - not great service (although not blaming the waitress), and generally a miserable atmosphere with little shade on the terrace. We have been in the evening before and it’s totally different. So if you’re thinking of booking an afternoon tea there, please don’t bother. The whole experience was extremely disappointing, especially for a birthday and certainly not to the standards you would expect from a 5 star hotel… Never again!"

"Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the incredibly friendly and professional staff. The owners were especially kind and helpful, always available and genuinely caring about their guests. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out was the warm and welcoming atmosphere, it felt like a home away from home. It’s clear that the owners and staff take great pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service, comfort, and genuine hospitality."

"Just back from a 12 day stay at this lovely hotel, arrived on 10 June till 22nd June. The setting is stunning, beautiful sunset every night. The hotel is low key, laid back, quiet and peaceful. Officially 3 star but better than some 4 star hotels I've stayed in. I found all the staff to be helpful and friendly. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of sunbeds either near the pool, at the beach or on the grass. I stayed Half Board and ate here every night. The food was great, I'm a very picky eater and wasn't sure if I'd find enough on the buffet in the evenings that I liked but I needn't have worried. Choice of at least 5 hot dishes and veg, salad. The Beef Stifado was amazing! Plenty of choice at breakfast with hot and cold options and lots of fruit. The housekeeping service was excellent, and the room was modern, comfortable and clean, the bed was very comfy. The air con was adequate. I had a sea view room (room 17, in the main building), the view was stunning over the pool and lawn to the sea. The location of the hotel is a little out of the way, around a 20 min walk to the centre of Polis for bars, restaurants and shops. The local taxi service was great, 10 Euros to Polis and 15 E to Latchi to the harbour and boat trips. A bus to Paphos from the bus station in Polis takes around an hour and costs 2 Euros. Made a new little friend, Aris, Cocker Spaniel belongs to the hotels owners ❤️. There are a few very friendly and well cared for cats too."

Pool was refreshing and shower hot and powerful! Large refrigerator and kitchen area with tables and chairs. Television sofa and large bed. We had a lovely basic room with terrace that was nice to sit out on and look over the courtyard/pool and bar. Thank you we will return! Also so walkable to any location on polis."

Marion Hotel ★★
"We arrived very late so check in was our room keys left on the reception.. we were greeted by a very friendly and kind English man & ginger cat.. We stayed for 4 nights. Over the coming days we got talking with the manager & other staff members who were all very friendly. The manager in some reviews is put down as” rude” however we didn’t find this the case. Don’t expect too much from the hotel, you get what you Pay for. The ginger kitten is super friendly & a little bit of a menace.. loves interaction from humans. Transfers to the hotel from the airport are quite expensive - do some research and pre book or find a local taxi service. We used nisso’s taxis whilst staying in the area & we found them very good value. Polis itself is small but has some lovely places to eat one being saddles bar. Look into getting the buses to explore a bit further out - the prices are very very good value!"

"This place is remarcable for its kindest and most helpful hosts and ist great location. It's a 3-minute walk from the sea and a very nice beach with few people even in July. If you're looking for a quiet place, super nice sea and total relax, this place is for you. The appartment has everything necessary, we stayed here for 3 weeks and we didn't lack anything. The hosts are kind and approachable, they do their best to help the guests with any issues that may appear. Our special thank to George! 🙏😊"

"A beautiful boutique hotel right on the village square of Polis. We had a large room with four poster bed and the added bonus of a balcony to watch the world go by. The bed was comfortable and we had some nice touches like wine and water in the fridge on arrival. The staff were very friendly and welcoming - especially Sophia who was very helpful."

"A few days ago, we returned from an off-season stay and we’re absolutely delighted! The hotel is very well maintained, simple yet elegant – rooms were tidy, cleaned regularly. The atmosphere is homely and peaceful, away from the crowds – a perfect place to truly relax. The sea view from our window was breathtaking! We chose the all-inclusive option – the food was delicious and fresh, made from local ingredients. Breakfasts were a bit repetitive, but lunches and dinners were excellent, varied, and always tasty. The pool bar offered a wide selection of drinks, including options beyond the standard all-inclusive menu (purchased separately). The owner is an incredibly warm person, and her piano playing in the evenings created a wonderful atmosphere. The entire staff deserves praise – helpful, kind, and always smiling. We truly felt cared for throughout our stay. It’s a charming, intimate hotel with a soul – perfect for anyone seeking peace, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!"
