"the lake view and pool areas were nice and as expected for the price but the bathrooms were so old looking and not spacious. The room I had has a shower and you can’t even move around in it.very disappointing. The bedroom is minimal,but very comfy,which is a good thing. I was really looking forward the the buffet but it was the most disappointing experience. There wasn’t a lot to choose from which I wasn’t worried about because the food looked pretty good at first glance.but soon I realized just how tasteless the food is. Crabs had no meat in them,milk rice tasted like milk had never reached it,chicken tasted like fish and even a simple dhal curry had no flavor . Even very small local food shops have better food than this massive hotel.the dessert bar was very disappointing too.(no chocolate ice cream only vanilla😔) and idk how but the fruits tasted like nothing.other than that the stay was enjoyable because the pool and the garden were nice.the bathrooms were bearable."

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming; everyone greeted us with a nod and a smile! The food was simply amazing, offering not only local specialties but also mildly spicy dishes for those of us who can't handle spice. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the main road, making it easy to find. Upon entering, the environment is remarkably quiet and comfortable, with beautiful surroundings and stunning landscaping. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a cool breeze throughout the day—perfect for relaxation! We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and the restaurant staff were very attentive and accommodating. In short, this is a fantastic place to relax and unwind, highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️"

"The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and very close to the Polonnaruwa ancient city, which makes sightseeing easy. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is quite small, but that’s understandable since it’s a renovated property. The à la carte food was good, though the desserts could definitely be better. The staff really stood out; hotel manager Nissanka was very welcoming, and Pradeep, Sanduni, and Nishani at the restaurant were incredibly helpful and took great care of us. Even the gardener, Manchanayake, was really friendly. Overall, I highly recommend it. Definitely worth the price."
