Wonderful Stay at Ginger Hotel, Pondicherry We recently had a pleasant stay at Ginger Hotel, Pondicherry. Upon arrival, we parked our car in the assigned area and entered a welcoming and well-maintained lobby. The check-in process was smooth and quick, thanks to the efficient and friendly service provided by Mr. Raj and Ms. Febronia at the Front Office. We had booked a Standard Twin Room and were allotted Room 030 on the ground floor. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a comfortable bed, a small sofa, a work table and chair, a cupboard, refrigerator, and kitchenette. The bathroom was compact and very clean. The linen was fresh and neatly arranged. A special appreciation to Mr. Uraj from Housekeeping for maintaining the room to a high standard. During our stay, the refrigerator in our room stopped working. We reported it, and to our surprise, it was replaced within five minutes – excellent service and responsiveness! We decided to have dinner at the hotel itself and ordered Mutton Milagai Soup, Lacha Paratha, and Chicken Curry. The kitchen staff were kind enough to customize the dishes as per our request – the paratha was made with maida and the chicken curry was prepared without garam masala. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The South Indian breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety including idly, vada, poha, pongal, paratha, two types of chutney, sambar, bread with jam and butter, cupcakes, cake slices, cut fruits, cornflakes, milk, boiled eggs, juice, tea, and coffee. There was also a live counter with a range of dosas and egg omelets. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast spread. A big thank you to Restaurant Manager Mr. Shiva Prakash, who took special care to ensure we had a great dining experience. Overall, the location is great, the staff is courteous, and the service exceeded our expectations. It was a truly memorable stay. Highly recommended!
