Parador de Pontevedra

The hotel is located in an old local building, which I later discovered while strolling around was near a former shipyard along the coast, with a small square next door containing a monument to Columbus. This perfectly matched my travel theme of following Columbus and the Age of Exploration. I was very satisfied with the hotel's location. The hotel rooms were rather old and poorly soundproofed. In the middle of the night, my neighbor called me asking me to turn the TV down, even though I wasn't using the TV and had been using a small speaker every night for almost a month. I was surprised to receive a complaint here. The rooms didn't provide any water or coffee, but the atmosphere in the hotel's coffee bar, facing the garden, was quite pleasant. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the town's old streets, just a few minutes' walk away. It's also very close to the river for a stroll. Overall, the location of this state-owned hotel is excellent, with constantly changing scenery throughout the hotel grounds, making it perfect for taking photos.

We were only there briefly, but everything was fine and clean. The reception staff were very professional.

A localização é boa, pois está em plena zona histórica. É pena não ter estacionamento próprio.
