Arrived at hotel, and the outside needed some updating. Checked in and put in a room on an upper level after specifically asking for a ground floor room a week prior to arrival. Tv didn't work properly, bathroom extractor didn't work at all and neither did the air con. Room windows were sealed shut with NO means of opening at all! Absolutely no ventilation. As soon as you walked into the room, it was unbearably hot. We did not sleep due to the room being so hot, so spoke to reception to be moved to another room. Was left without a room for over 4 hrs and sat in reception for over 2hrs and was completely ignored by ALL staff! Eventually after watching other guests check in around us, we approached the same member of staff we had reported our issue to, to ask if our replacement room was ready. He had no recollection and looked completely surprised and bewildered until my wife reminded him of our previous conversation earlier that morning. He then checked us into a ground floor room (that had clearly been empty for a long time) and I do believe if we hadn't approached him, we would still be sat in reception being ignored now! Our 2 night stay was awful from start to finish and the customer service was appalling. Will NOT be returning.

We enjoyed a short stay here and received excellent and friendly service from everyone we encountered. Our room was very clean and fresh, the usual Premier Inn style. There was some road noise at night, but nothing excessive, it didn't spoil our sleep! We only ate breakfast at the hotel, and that was excellent and plentiful and is great value. All in all this was a great stay in a good location for getting out and about .

We were very happy with our stay at the premier in. Perfect for our 1 night stay whilst visiting family. Bed was really comfy and the shower was great. Ideal if you are going to be driving out. Was a short drive to the harbour.

Checking in... nicely greeted, asked for dinner reservation time as they are 'busy'. Fine I've done this loads with premier inn. Room card would not open door to hallway. Quickly resolved by another lady on reception. Room.... OK,clean and comfortable. Desk chair heavily stained, deep clean or replace. Bathroom.... cleaning, 3 different hairs on the floor none of are mine. Mould behind sink taps Ceiling panel not sealed, will cause problems soon enough for timber or floor above soon enough. Down for dinner reserved table by the way..... this means they new I was there. On a business rate Room we use this chain week in week out, we reccomend this chain week in week out for our contractors. On arrival few minute wait no problem. Seated nicely, then it all stopped from here. Waitress seated two further guests after myself over two different tables, proceeded to take drinks and food orders from both. So far still waiting for even a drink order to happen. 1st customer asked for a drink, a starter and main. His starter came before his drink. He was still waiting for his drink when I asked for a refund. (30mins had passed,no joke) 2nd customer received their mains order(+20min after I seated) I'm still waiting for a drinks order to be taken here. I give up, I'm tired it's been a long day at which point the waitress that seated me tried to engage. I politely walked past and said I'll gain a refund from reception. 30 minutes from the time I was seated to being stood at reception I was IGNORED. Asking for a refund the Chap at reception proceeded to try and get me to eat in the restaurant or have food delivered to my room. What would you have done?........... I politely refused and asked the company to be refunded while I wait. The guy was apologetic, but a little too late for myself at this point. I'm tired and hungry at this point. I retreat to my room and order a takeaway. Service restaurant 0 Service check in 5(same people from reception in restaurant weirdly so different service) Service correcting complaint 5 Compared to other thyme restaurants this is at the bottom for overall customer care. The service given around me seemed to be good to other customers, however for myself as an onlooker waiting you need to up your game to every customer is cared for. In a sequence of arrival manner. It can't be that difficult, you even ask for guests to book in so you know we are there. Which is even more disappointing, meaning you ate deliberately keeping.us waiting knowing we are here.

Friendly dedicated staff who went out of their way to help with everything no matter how small. Room was so clean and comfortable. Will be my first choice hotel for my next stay hands down. Can't wait to stay again.

I stay at this hotel weekly for work for convenience of proximity to the office. On the majority of times I've stayed over the winter the room has been very cold and the heating controls defunct. I would expect the hotel to pre-heat the rooms they have booked out and for the heating controls to work. This makes for a very unwelcome arrival and a very uncomfortable stay. Please sort it Premier Inn. I'm sure Lenny wouldn't put up with it!

We had a family room booked at the Premier Inn, room was spacious, fresh clean beds and comfortable for a family of 5 to share. Buffet style breakfast meant we could all have something we wanted as much or as little we wanted and could go for hot chocolate with frothy milk if wanted.

I booked a family room at the last minute on a Saturday evening. On arrival the hotel could only be described as chaotic. It was good to see a high volume of people and a bit of atmosphere, however the hotel wasn’t equipped with the staffing to deliver any quality of service. I was told to get straight to the restaurant as it would be shutting early and was very busy. I was seated and then experienced a wait of 30 minutes to get served. At this point, I should have realised I’d be better off cutting my losses (I didn’t) During my 30 minute wait to order, I made eye contact with the waitress and she actually told me that she would serve me next. She seemingly then forgot about me again & then she was lost back in to the crowd. I eventually managed to get the attention of another lady, who told me she would serve me after the customer who was sat next to me. The waitress/manager said that this customer had been there longer than me. This wasn’t actually correct, but I decided it wasn’t worth saying anything and was just relieved that I’d be able to place an order soon. After ordering, my drink (a lemonade) took 35 minutes to be delivered. The food (gammon) was a further 45 minutes and mainly fat, rather than meat. There was no denying the two staff members were completely out of their depth and having a hellish shift, but with that said some basic manners wouldn’t have gone a miss. I didn’t hear anyone receive a ‘sorry for the wait’ etc. The hotel room was ok, but perhaps would benefit from an update but it was clean enough and had tea/coffee making facilities. I went for breakfast in the morning, the scrambled eggs were undercooked, they’d ran out of bread and fried eggs and the coffee machine was out of beans. I really do hope that the hotel manages to get their staffing crisis fixed as soon as possible. From a customer experience, the service was poor. I’d imagine from a staff perspective the current few in there won’t be getting paid enough to deal with so many disgruntled customers.
