"Rented the Hiawatha Lodge (5 BR, 5 BA cabin) for our group of 12 (5 families). We stayed here years ago, so knew what to expect. The rooms have different configurations and each had way more beds than we needed (sleeps 24). Tons of room for everyone and their belongings! Rented in the off season which a discounted rate. It is still not cheap and the accommodations are nice but not perfect. Pros: We are ok spending the large amount of money on the rental because we thoroughly enjoy the space the cabin offers and the beautiful view of and access to Lake Minnewaska. Cons: Kitchen pans have marks in the nonstick coating, the showers don’t have the best water pressure, the kitchen knives are not the sharpest. Brought our own kitchenware to use. The shared common rooms include a ping pong room, pool table room, dining room, and family room. All are large spaces and were enjoyed by our family. If you enjoy golf, the home includes a certain number of rounds of golf at the attached Pezhekee National Golf Course."
