One of its most distressing aspects is the draconian prohibition against bringing outside food, even something as innocuous as chips. This restriction is not only excessive but demonstrates a lack of consideration for guests' preferences and needs. Adding to the disappointment is the staff's appalling lack of manners. Their communication lacks the basic courtesy expected in the hospitality industry. Rather than fostering a welcoming environment, their behavior contributes to a hostile and unwelcoming atmosphere for visitors. The combination of these factors severely tarnishes the hotel's reputation. Despite any potential positive attributes the Blue Marlin Hotel might possess, such as amenities or location, these are overshadowed by the unfriendly policies and unprofessional conduct of the staff. Guests seeking a relaxing and pleasant stay are likely to be sorely disappointed and may find their experience soured by the establishment's rigid rules and discourteous service.

Good room decor. Poor facilities- The AC didn't work properly. The shower had poor hot/cold water supply. The hotel is essentially built near a sewerage outflow, so be prepared for the "fresh smells of the countryside". No fridge in the room, no cold water facilities. The breakfast next day was in a cellar like place, with poor lighting. There were cockroaches roaming about freely. The breakfast itself was very poor, with the only edible for me being buttered bread. The tea though was excellent. So overall, a very poor experience.
