We sat for 30 minutes in the restaurant watching the waiters serve everyone else and eventually when I complained we were served water. It took over 1 hour for the food to arrive. The waiters looked at us but just ignored us. Very poor service. Poor shower in the bathroom.

We stumbled upon relais Germigney by chance - and I'm glad we did. We loved the large family loft, we indulged ourselves in the excellent spa, and enjoyed the food served at breakfast. For dinner, we enjoyed much more the low key bistro, than the fine dining restaurant.

If you are on the way down to southern France or back from there make a stopover for 1 or 2 nights at this charming castle; its a real lovely place and the region is a must know.

Royalty without actually being a roya. Great for a Romantic surprise weekday or Weekend Getaway :) Hotel staff was extremely attentive and nice. Our room was gorgeous, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the breakfast was of high quality especially the scrambled eggs. As I travel frequently, I am able to compare breakfasts around the world but this one really hit it out of the ball park.Delicious.
