The sheets are too old and there is no one at the front desk after 4 o'clock.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Arrived after reception closed, received a text on how to access the after hours check in - was easy to use and access the the carpark was ideal. Apartment was clean and ideal for two family stay for an overnight stop. Within a casual stroll to the centre of town. . The apartment was self contained if you wanted to cook or reheat food. I was on level 3 which was suitable and quiet. Will certainly stay again when visiting Port Macquarie, well priced, friendly staff at reception desk.

Our “welcome”, having arrived just after 4 PM, was a self-check-in.  It worked OK but you wonder about hotels with such limited reception times.  Our ground floor room was OK too but, being on the ground floor, had no view.  Two days later we checked out at around 8 am without having seen the reception counter staffed.  The wifi / internet set-up was unreliable (maybe that’s standard in Port Macquarie) but you had to be persistent and patient at the hotel.  An OK experience but not one to rave about – or rate as 4 ½ stars.

I don't know why I checked out because I said that we have 100 knives when we have garbage. Is this family hotel cleaning up and checking out?
