Went for mothers day lunch, absolutely stunning meal, very tasty , presented perfectly. It was my daughters 1st mothers day and a table to accommodate the pram was provided. Excellent service from all the staff. A special thank you to Clare. You made my daughters mothers day very special thank you. Will definetly be returning again soon. It's our favourite place in porthcawl.

We are so glad we chose the Atlantic Hotel for our Golden Wedding meal. The function room was ideal and was tastefully prepared for our party of 22. Family members, aged 5 to 72, all enjoyed excellent food, with friendly and efficient service. After the meal some of us walked to the headland while others could stay a while longer in the hotel.

Went for a meal today, it took 15 minutes to bring the drinks, the room was freezing cold as was the food when it eventually came an hour later. One member of hour group didn’t get theirs at all so we left and went to the Salt House and had a lovely hot meal, delivered quickly in a warm room at half the price. I’ll never go to the Atlantic again

We booked a table of 5 for the celebration evening for New Year’s Eve at £20 per head. The entertainment was great, a Fleetwood Mac tribute act, we enjoyed a dance as did many others. Included in the ticket was a food platter which was super generous we assumed we would have 2 and share but to our astonishment we were given 1 each having a choice of meat or vegetarian. There was an amazing selection of food on each platter. Staff were helpful and friendly which helped to create a fab atmosphere. We had a memorable evening seeing in 2025 and all agreed at £20 per ticket great value for money!! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend ☺️

Enjoyed a fabulous Xmas day lunch at the Atlantic Hotel Porthcawl The meal was excellent and all the staff worked so hard to make sure we enjoyed a special time Xmas day . Many thanks to them all for the wonderful food , excellent menu choices which catered for everybody in our family. We will be back very soon .

Fabulous time Xmas day Great hospitality and the meal was amazing, thank you to all the people who worked so hard to make the day so special. The food was delicious and served piping hot , we were greeted with a drink on arrival and all the elements of the meal were top notch .

Visited today 27th dec with my family We have visited many times when we are back from Spain Used to be great pint real ale doombar and the hotel was always warm Today well keg doombar and freezing hotel We always had good food but after speaking to a local who said it had gone downhill we decided to leave Never again either step up your game or get out of it

Went for Christmas Day, from start to finish was a really lovely day, greeted with a glass of bubbly, followed by delicious starters and the Christmas dinner was out of this world, so tasty and delicious, nothing bad to say about it at all. Really nice pudding followed by coffee and mini deserts which were so nice! 🌲

Wow! What a great evening! Freddie Mercury tribute was great, both of his sets were very good. Food was amazing, lamb was delicious and the staff were excellent. The atmosphere was the Atlantic I remember. Not been for a while but will definitely be going back.
