A nice enough place, but some drawbacks that means I will not return. It's in a great location in town with free parking outside and at the rear. Staff are helpful, the breakfast tasty and the room was clean and well appointed. Sleep quality was poor due to no sound insulation between me and the room next door with noisy plumbing sounding like it was coming from my room. Breakfast ends at 9, which is too early for my liking and I felt rushed. Not a relaxing experience.

Comfortable stay in centre of Porthmadog. Compact room. Very clean. Warm welcome. Used nearby public parking (paid). Good breakfast. Noise from room above only nuisance. Recommended for location and friendliness. Adjacent restaurant but should book - we were u lucky.

We stayed in Porthmadog for a few nights in late May. The B&B was ideally situated in the middle of town, the room was comfortable for a couple of nights, and had sufficient parking for about 8 cars. The breakfast included in our stay was fantastic and a real highlight of the stay. Rooms were clean and good for a short stay.

As our planned overnighter at the local Premier Inn fell through due to a gross adminstrative failure on my part, we were faced with an impromtu search for somewhere to stay in Porthmadog at short notice. A quick Google search unearthed this well-reviewed little gem of a B&B next to the bistro restaurant of the same name. At £90 for B&B including an excellent breakfast, we were very pleased at finding a room available. Room 7 was a bit cramped and had a fairly dated en-suite shower & WC but was very clean & was certainly fine for a short stay. The adjoining bistro restaurant gets booked up on most evenings so book early if you want to try it out.

Very pleased to find that the excellent service that was experienced last year was just as evident this year. The room (no 5) was clean and comfortable with en suite shower, which was more than adequate. Breakfast was 1st class, the staff very friendly and our short trip to Porthmadog was made more pleasurable by staying at this b&b.

My wife uses a walking frame and has accessibility issues. We stayed in room 7 which was on the small side. Although it has a shower , there is sizeable step and so she could not use it. Further , in common with many shower rooms there are no hand rails which would greatly help those who are not so steady on their feet.I think other rooms may have the same issue. The bed mattress is in need of changing. On the plus side the staff were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and wished we could have tried the dinner menu which looked good. Location is good and there was easy on street parking.
