Have stayed here numerous times as a stopover before flying from Bristol Airport. Always value for money, clean rooms, exceptional staff. Great views of the Marina from the front of the hotel. Will always come back to this hotel for a quick stopover!

Stayed in room 119, opened the door and the smell hits you straight away. A musky smell, had to open the window immediately. The window has a black cord that is supposed to to only allow the window to slightly open, well it had been cut (thankfully) so we could open the window as much as we wanted to. This posed another flaw, room 119 is on the first floor, and outside the window is the flat roof of the shop below. My room didn’t feel secure now. Anyone can get into the room if the window is open. I explained this at reception but the receptionist said that nobody can get up to the flat roof which is good but someone could jump out of another first floor window, walk along the flat roof and into room 119. The receptionist knew about the window so I have no idea how long it has been like this. He also knew about the smell. I didn’t leave anything in the room whilst I was out for security reasons. Came back a few hours later and the smell had improved because I had left the window open as wide as possible. Yes it’s a budget hotel but rooms should be secure!

Wonderful stay. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by Naomi with a lovely smile and very efficient check in. The room was clean and comfortable and in addition my two beloved dogs were made to feel safe and welcoming. Free parking is bonus and location is perfect. No complaints only lots of praise. Thanks. Can be an uncertainty when booking budget accommodation but this comes out top Mark's!

I am writing this review having not even booked this hotel yet. Maybe this isn't allowed. I would like to book a few nights' here as it's in the perfect location for me near friends. However, I am a wheelchair user and need an accessible room with roll-in shower. I was very disappointed to find when I went to book an accessible twin room that it is a fair bit dearer than a "normal" twin room. I'd really like to know how this is justified. It's discrimination and no other hotel that I have come across has such a policy. I stayed in this hotel when it was a Travelodge and this wasn't the case then. If I don't challenge this it will never change and you will keep on discriminating against every other person like myself who can't help needing the accessible facilities. Out of principle I won't be staying here until Ibis redeem themselves and stop discriminating. If anything the rooms should be cheaper as I also have to pay for someone else to come with me to help!

Super-helpful staff, as I've come to expect from Premier Inn. Comfortable bed and clean room. Walking distance to Marina and shops.Breakfast on Sunday morning meant a long queue for the one solitary coffee machine. Very spacious car park, but why no EV chargers?

This was our third visit to Ibis Portishead. Our room was very clean and tidy (room203) . The bathroom was clean with large clean towels available. Shower was clean and hot. We didn’t have hand towels on arrival, but when we raised the issue with the young lady in reception, she kindly offered to take replacements to our room. Very polite and professional The bed was clean and comfortable too. The only issue that we felt needing to be addressed was that the windows when closed didn’t block out all the noise from the road. We’ve requested a room overlooking the car park for our next visit. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and have booked again for 3 nights over Christmas . Good value for money-clean & comfortable room.

Fabulous staff. Great location. Highly recommended. Price includes parking right outside hotel. There is a wetherspoons next-door, a lidl underneath and a waitrose the other side. Perfect combo in my opinion!!

A great budget priced hotel perfectly positioned between the town and the marina. The room was clean, the facilities basic but everything worked, the bed was firm and comfortable. The staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful. For the money they charge this is the perfect hotel.

Lovely clean, quite and comfy hotel. Perfect location for food outlets and the local shops. A few minutes from the m5. They offer a guest discount for bottlinos (which we didn't know until after :( )
