The Bidwell Marriott Portland

Really enjoyed our stay at The Bidwell Portland. After a long drive, we were greeted by a very friendly doorman who gave us advice on where to park and even get free street parking, saving us quite a bit of money if we were to use the hotel's valet. The wonderful service continued at the check in counter with Anthony who gave us tips on where to get good food nearby at one of the foodtruck pods. We only had a short one-night stay at the hotel but it was very enjoyable and a comfortable one for us. If we ever find ourselves in Portland again, we'll be sure to stay at The Bidwell again.

Easy to go anywhere in Portland, Close by malls and convenience store.

The Bidwell is a nicely furnished, clean, well-located hotel with excellent staff. Areas for improvement: the bed mattress was quite soft and/or in need of replacement (or may be perfect for those who like a softer mattress), wi-fi is free but only with Marriott membership (shouldn't wi-fi simply be a standard feature at a higher end hotel, without a loyalty program?), and the shower curtain rod drooped so the curtain kept sliding open resulting in water on the floor. Overall, our group liked the Bidwell and I expect we'll be back.
