Hotel Grand Stark

Great hotel. Clean, good location, polite staff, nice design.

Our stay was good and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. Though the hotel applied $100 flat pet fees which is very high and should be mentioned somewhere prior to booking. They also don't have parking space, the neighborhood is a bit sketchy and charge $55 for valet parking. Overall a little inconvenient given the parking situation.

The hotel was conveniently placed for an event at the Redd. It was also easy to walk the bridge to downtown. The hotel lobby is bright, clean and easy to relax on. The rooms were poorly designed. No sink in the bathroom. Just awkward. The sound proofing was unreal, luckily it wasn't busy during our stay but you could clearly hear everything in the hall way outside our door. Even ppl walking sounded like they were in your room. Also the bathroom has a small sliding door, again no sound proofing! Overall clean, friendly and the room had everything it needed for a shoer stay.

Best time to get a room here is in the winter! The homeless don’t go far. Beware they scope you out and your vehicle. Watched them walk around my car and steal my half-smoked cigarette. Once that happened I got outta there. Plus the staff is awful. Checked out a day early and still had to check up on the reservation. Lackluster crew gave attitude and drool out the face. Watched homeless steal inside the lobby. Told them; they didn't seem to care. Got a room here in the Winter time… it was great btw.

Clean room, necessary amenities, very quiet. Street parking was somewhat challenging requiring an app and is limiting depending on time of day.

Clean room, great staff and good location. The only annoyance in my opinion was no parking or nearby parking, only valet parking which was expensive for one night and no water or coffee in the rooms otherwise it was perfect!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I wish they had sinks inside the bathroom, but that's a personal preference. The hotel is conveniently located from restaurants with good public transportation.

The staff were fantastic. The valet and desk clerks were especially helpful. It was comfortable and clean. It was close to many convenient and tasty spots to eat. Olympia Provisions and The Memory Den make for a fantastic Sunday morning.
