"The hotel staff were great and the facilities including the rooftop bar and wellness are were unbelievable. Our room though had lots of stains on the carpet, the AC initially was not working and we had to call the reception to fix it. The wifi was also very inconsistent and frustrating. Location was a bit out of the main area but a quick 10-15 minute drive solved that. We probably wouldn’t stay here again but it did the necessary job!"

Pestana Porto - A Brasileira, City Center & Heritage Building ★★★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located near Benedict Station, making it easy to get to all the attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful, with classic European decor that I love, and the room even has a small, elegant terrace. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room was broken the first night, and the hotel was fully booked for that day, so we had to spend the night in a room without air conditioning. Luckily, there were other rooms available the next day, and the staff were very helpful in arranging rooms for us; I'm very grateful to them."

STAY HOTEL PORTO CENTRO ANTAS ★★★
"They gave me the room in 1st floor. It has so bad & strong smell in the washroom. I couldn’t sleep at 1st night. I complained of it, and staff said it’s ok if you closed door hahaha. And keep saying can’t change now as it’s full. Doesn’t make sense cause I didn’t see many people like that in the hotel. Anyway I keep complaining next day and they changed the room but it’s in same floor. Same smell so I gave up. I think they need do something to get rid of that smell. I paid more for staying hotel but feel like It was not hotel. When I came back to Canada after vacation, I heard that some hotels assign the lower floor only for Asian (It makes sense cause I had 3 hotels while traveling to Portugal, all of my rooms are in 1st floor. Is it coincidence?). I will not think of it anymore as it makes me a little sad. But this hotel need to do something for it."

Hotel Black Tulip - Porto Gaia ★★★★
"I liked everything, except for the arrival. I had said I would arrive between 11 am and 12 pm, and when I arrived I was told I could only pick up the keys at 4 pm. That was the only thing that bothered me; the rest was excellent."

"I stayed here before my pilgrimage. It's in an old building, so it has a nice atmosphere. There are no towels. There was shampoo and shower gel, but there was very little left so I couldn't use much."

Porto Royal Bridges Hotel ★★★★
"Very nice modern hotel. Lovely bar /restaurant area. Good selection at breakfast and reasonable price. The location is very good. Quite central. The room makes the best use of what is actually a very tight space. Unfortunately, there is very limited storage for clothes or luggage. There is just one small rail to hang clothes. Be aware, if privacy is an issue for you, that the toilet and shower are separated from the bedroom by smoked glass doors. If you are a couple this is unlikely to matter...but if you are sharing with a friend, it might The water can come out under the shower door sometimes, so put extra towels down. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room. There is a nespresso machine with a few pods. T.V. with some English channels, if that matters to you, although, there's far better things to do in Porto than watch t.v.! You can store your luggage, if you have to wait for your flight. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. We had a pleasant stay and staff were friendly and helpful."
