Always a pleasure spending the weekend at the Brown Trout,maybe thats the reason we keep returning ever year. Bedrooms are large.beautifully decorated and showers top class.Have never had a bad meal and always enjoy the breakfast range in the mornings served to lunchtime for those who like to sleep late.Always something to please on the evening menu and the food is outstanding as usual. Nice atmosphere in the bar/lounge area with its log burners,tv,s and friendly staff serving the drinks. Looking forward to our next visit and well done Jane on your top class establishment.

Enjoyed a very welcome weekend stay at the Brown Trout whilst over for The Open at Royal Portrush. A fantastic, warm and attentive team who couldn't do enough to help us. Inside has lovely rustic and rural charm and a great atmosphere. The breakfast was great too and the overall food serving was lovely, and they're certainly not shy with the portion sizes either ;) Can't say enough good things about this place, wonderful setting, enjoyable trail around the golf course and a great nights sleep too! Thanks guys and we'll definitely be back.

I have stayed here many times before and I will continue to come here. It is a very comfortable cosy place to stay with great food and amazing staff. I always sleep well in the quiet, spaxious, comfortable, clean rooms. Never disappoints. I would highly recommend

Very welcoming and comfortable. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. We had a room overlooking the golf course, roomy with a lovely view. Food in the restaurant was of a high standard both for breakfast and dinner. There is a nice walk around the outside of the grounds which was good to do before breakfast

I have just returned from an overnight stay with friends at the Brown Trout, which certainly deserves much more than the three stars it's awarded. The rooms and cottages, which have recently been refurbished, are well appointed and extremely comfortable. We all enjoyed an excellent evening meal and hearty breakfast in the morning. The staff were particularly friendly and efficient and despite the restaurant and bar being very busy, we were served quickly with no fuss. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, set as it is, in a lovely wooded area leading down onto the River Bann. It also has a nine hole golf course set within it's grounds if you fancy a round of golf. We will most certainly return to enjoy the "Brown Trout experience".

Outstanding
Beautiful relaxing stay for our anniversary. We have stayed here several time and never disappointed. Food and drink is excellent. Staff are so friendly an nothing is to much trouble for them they coupdnt do enought for us. Cant recommend the brown trout any more for bussiness or pleasure.

Hidden Gem
Pleasantly greeted at check in by pleasant staff member . Food at dinner time was plentiful and very tasty , breakfast was top notch and cooked freshly. Rooms were spotlessly clean with everything needed . Every member of staff worked tirelessly during our overnight stay and deserve a mention. Wouldn't hesitate to return .

This is just to say that we found the customer service in the restaurant recently to be exceptional and unexpected. I won't go into the details but the way our particular "situation" was dealt with went above and beyond. Thankyou from us both
