Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover this trip Walking into reception we were met by a LOT of cigarette butts on the ground as well as weeds all around the front of the building Just before the entrance were 2 large planters with dead plants In the corridor on 3rd floor a large piece of carpet was covered in duct tape The duvet cover in our room had rips in it & there was paint crumbling off the ceiling The plug in the sink was broken & the plughole was very gungy & dirty When we went for breakfast there was no-one there to meet us so we walked on in When we were finally spotted we were made to walk away back to where the greeter should have been so he could tell us to go & sit at the table we were going to sit at a minute earlier The cooked breakfast was good but the coffee was undrinkable For some reason the fire doors in the corridor were always pinned open When we were checking out we had to wait until the receptionist stopped chatting on the phone long enough to ask what we wanted When we said we were checking out she asked what room number then went back to her phonecall If any kind of effort had been made to ask about our stay I would have discussed my issues with her but we obviously were just disturbing her Very poor & a ridiculous price for a room in such a run down hotel

Due to stay in the hotel for a golf trip in September. The hotel did not even ring to talk to us directly, just emailed to say they had moved our booking to their sister hotel in another town, without prior notification or an explanation as to why. My husband contacted the hotel on receiving the email, to which he was told 'our stay was moved to the sister hotel' with no reasoning. We booked this location for a reason, a different town is not acceptable and definitely not acceptable to just be moved without talking to us. Very unprofessional business.

Absolutely terrible place. Badly managed and even dirtier. Everything from Toilets to beds. Food terrible with dirty plates and glasses. Very ignorant staff. Definitely won’t be back and can only say to anyone to never risk ruining your trip.

We have just returned home from a two night stay. We had a beautiful large room with windows overlooking portrush and the skerries islands and we could see Rathlin Island as well. The staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We had a beautiful freshly cooked breakfast each morning. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant one night. the food was all beautifully cooked with a friendly and professional waitress. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back in the future.

I think the key asset of this hotel is the staff who were all v friendly and keen to ensure we had a nice time. Thank you v much. I even managed to leave my phone behind at checkout and hotel staff helped get it back to me in record time. Ty.

Awful customer service…don’t even bother wasting your time here. Not happy at all so best to keep looking rather than book here. Staff didn’t seem bothered, not the type of service you expect from a hotel.

Stayed at this hotel last week end. The check at 4.00pm was painless and we were given our room on the first floor. The lift was near our room. The room was very spacious with TV on the wall and Radio on the beside table. The both nights that we had stayed the food was excellent and plentiful. Our waiter was Matthew in the bar. A young student who well mannered and knowledgeable. He was also very attentive to us. Checking to see that if our drinks needed replenished. In the mornings at breakfast our server was Marshall again well mannered and attentive to our needs. All the staff seemed to be students. I would highly recommend this hotel for a quiet weekend with no hassle and good service by all. The hotel is a short walk to all the amenities in Portrush and a short drive to either Portstewart or Colraine

Restaurant- Re-Heated Chips on meal, mushy peas rock hard. Restaurant/Bar - I had 1 pint of Guinness which wasn't great, thought l'd try again but they had run out. Early Saturday evening, bad form. We thought we'd try go into the town, as Hotel had run out of Guinness, that whilst no fault of the hotel was not to be, we could get a taxi company to bring us into Portrush but none would take us back. So an early night it was. I was in quite a bit of pain on my back as a result of the bed. Breakfast - bacon was like cardboard, did not enjoy.

Had a family meal last night. 4 adults and a child. Food was outstanding. All freshly cooked and on the table very quickly. Also very reasonably priced. Lovely ambience and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend. Mixed grill was outstanding. Lasagne was amazing and you would have thought you were in an Italian restaurant. Portions sizes were huge. Will definitely be back.
