We ordered fish and chip butty. There was two pathetic fish fingers in there (see photo) and only thing you could taste was the butter. This was £10. Highly disappointed!! This also took 30 minutes for it to come out. The condiments were also inedible.

Excellent value for money, clean and modern. Everywhere is spotless, all staff friendly. Free tea coffee and water facilities downstairs. Can also bring in takeaways downstairs- plates and cutlery provided. Bathroom is very small but we managed just fine- ironically shower is big. One person downstairs in reception complaining about no hot water but they hadn’t turned the shower switch on- wanting full refund so think they were just chancers. Couldn’t fault this place and will come back again. Perfect location. No lift facilities so consider this for prams/buggies

We had a very pleasant stay at the Rambler Inn. Easy check in. Room was clean. No storage but we didn’t need any as we were only there for 2 nights. We had a family room - double bed, single bed and cot. Room was small but it did our job as we were just sleeping in it and spending no time. Bathroom also was small but again it was clean, basic and had a lovely shower. Lovely large communal area with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a table tennis table and TV with Netflix. Ample car parking spaces and in a central location close to Portstewart Main Street. We will definitely stay again as we found it was great value for money :)

We stayed there for 1 night. Samantha on check in was so friendly and helpful as was the man working later but can't remember his name. The place is lovely and clean beds so comfortable. They don't serve food just tea and coffee but you can bring in your own food. There is a beautiful big room there to eat and cutlery and delph supplied. The only downfall I would have is the showers in our room very small and no stopper in wash in basin. Very short walk to shops, takeaway, restaurants and pubs. If i am in the area again I would definitely stay here.

My partner booked the rambler inn for a short break away , on getting there first thing noticed was smeared dog poo in carpark and two filled doggie poo bags left in foilage beside entrance we went in anyway as we thought a random dog walker threw it on the property . We where greeted by a friendly guy and given keys to room . Small room a bit tatty with no bedside tables just a rickety fold up table ,no wardrobe just hangers on wall rail . The bathroom was actually nice with good shower but you need to be slim it is so tiny but we where ok . Slept well enough and thank God it was warm and we didn't need the quilt that was as thin as a pan loaf crust . We went out next morning for Dettol spray ect and also noticed stain on valence and several on walls also dirty carpet on stairs in corridor, couldn't use lounge to make coffee as reeked of the dogs lying in there under tables where people supposed to eat . We where mostly out walking eating out in a restaurant ect so didn't bother us but can smell them as you come in .This place is more a cheap hostel for dog owners we left just after nine in the morning day of leaving just needed to get away . Yes it's cheap but it needs to be clean and smell free and no dog crap .

Paid £60 for our room for a Saturday night stay, excellent value for money, yes the place Is really basic but sure what more do you need. The place was clean & tidy. The people were all so friendly right through from the staff to the other guests, would stay here again for a night.

Just returned from a fantastic 2 night family stay at The Rambler Inn. We could not have received better service from the staff, in particular Remi and the wonderful Martin. This is basic accomodation, but spotlessly clean, with the most comfortable beds and excellent value for money. Staff 5 ⭐️ Location 5⭐️ Value for money 5⭐️ Cleanliness 5⭐️ We will most definitely be back!
