Great hotel. Friendly staff and a great bar and restaurant area. Will stay again

I stayed one night between two days of the Shuttleworth Festival of Flight. All the staff I spoke to were welcoming, friendly and helpful, and my room and its ensuite bathroom were really inviting - very tastefully decorated, and fully equipped with everything one could need. The bed was lovely and comfortable with good-quality pillows, which I really appreciate: A lot of otherwise decent places let themselves down by giving you cheap and nasty ones, so it was nice to snuggle down into the kind of bedding I’d be happy to have at home. All of this is already enough to warrant a good review, but what really impressed me even more was the fact that my room and its ensuite were absolutely immaculate. That favourable initial impression was further reinforced by the bar area that evening, and the breakfast room the following morning, both again spotless. Breakfast, both in the wide variety of self-service items laid out in the alcove, and the full English cooked breakfast, was excellent. I was very impressed indeed with every aspect of the Coach House, and I look forward to the next time.

Had a one night stay for a family wedding we were attending near by. Cannot fault the room we had, beautiful decor and ample size for 2 adults and 2 kids. Continental breakfast was more than enough, topped with fantastic friendly service from start to finish. Thank you

Decided to stay in Potton for a change as we wanted to be near to Biggleswade. Our booking was bed & breakfast. At check in we were informed a cooked breakfast was only available from 10 am and at an extra charge. Instead we could have a Continental breakfast from 7 am, with our intinary this early offering suited us. Upon arrival at the early breakfast we were presented with nothing more than a bowl of cereal, sliced bread and a glass of fruit juice. No sign of a meat and cheese platter or any choice of rolls and pastries. Lovely property and superb rooms but let down by the breakfast experience. Not good value for the amount charged for the stay.

Stayed in room number 1 on the first floor, it was very comfortable with a large double bed and a beautiful fresh-looking bathroom with a very big shower and a lovely bath situated in the bay window. Tea, coffee etc. and a little biscuit waiting in the room. The only downside was that it faced out to the market square and was a little on the warm side in the late afternoon. Room number 7 was also very comfortable, facing the back or side of the building so didn't get the late afternoon sun. Staff were very helpful but mostly quite young and I got the feeling that they were a little inexperienced. No matter, our stay was not adversely affected. The restaurant and bar were busy, nice to see that they were attracting business as they deserve to succeed. Breakfast was excellent, we were allowed to order from the children's menu as the brunch-type breakfast would have been too much for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Really easy check in / out system. Friendly staff. Lively bar - couples mostly - not teenagers. We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food, but the room was lovely. Warm and tastefully furnished. Fantastic barge in the bay window overlooking the square. Really good shower as well. On site parking too. Highly recommended.
