🚨 Warning to All Tourists! 🚨 Avoid the Old Royal Post Hotel in Prague! I had a terrible experience with this hotel and I want to make sure no one else falls victim to their scam. Here's what happened: I booked a stay at the Old Royal Post Hotel on June 3, 2024. The total cost listed on their website was 7098 Kč. However, when I was charged, it was a whopping 14000 Kč! I assumed this included a security deposit, so I didn't question it at the time. I stayed at the hotel from July 27 to July 29, 2024. Upon checking out, I was charged again by the hotel – not once, but twice – for a total of 28000 Kč. In the end, I paid a staggering 42000 Kč for what was supposed to be a 7098 Kč stay. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I urge everyone to steer clear of the Old Royal Post Hotel in Prague to avoid being scammed like I was. Absolutely stunning hotel in the most beautiful location. I honestly can't fault a thing. Our suite had a huge terrace with views over the rooftops, a perfect little suntrap. So many bars and restaurants right on your doorstep and minutes from charles bridge. Still our room was a peaceful haven once ready to turn in.

This is a wonderful place, newly renovated, well appointment and very spacious! The location is simply unbeatable, you are 300m from where the action is. The downside is that my building (apt B) didn't have a lift! The poor staff had to carry my 16kg luggage up!

The location of this hotel is perfect! It is close to the Charles Bridge, just a short walk away. It is on the other side of the river from Old Town which is good because it is quieter. There are several good restaurants around the hotel. We stayed in the junior suite with a large terrace which was fantastic to spend time after a long day of walking with a glass of wine. It was stocked like an apartment with lots of room. We had a wonderful stay!

We booked the Prague Suite which is a roof top suite with a small outside seating area. Lovely views of the church spires. This has got to be one of our favourite places we've ever stayed in! The accommodation is huge and immaculate. It's even better than the website photos. There is absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay in Prague. The beds and pillows are just so comfortable. There is a separate laundry in the suite - so make sure you pack lightly! The location is great, literally a couple of minutes from Charles Bridge. It's on a side street so it's lovely & quiet. The castle and old Prague are within easy walking distance. There are plenty of fabulous restaurants nearby, and there is a tram stop if you fancy a break from walking. The reception staff deserve an award for outstanding customer service. They advised us on eating out, making reservations, planning our daily itinerary booking taxis and so much more! Quite simply, this is the perfect place to stay for a few days in this beautiful City!

This was our first time in Prague and the hotel was a lovely retreat after a day of sight-seeing. The suite was modern, spacious and eautifully designed, with all the modern amenities and equipment (even a washing machine and heated floor in the bathroom). It was also warm and quiet, in perfect location, had good WiFi and a nice big walk-in shower. The staff was great and helpful too. Overall we loved it and would love to go there again.

We visited Prague for 2023 New Year. This is our second visit to the hotel. It’s an exceptional establishment, perfectly located to the Charles Bridge, but far enough away that it’s very peaceful. The apartment rooms are great. Very spacious with everything you need for a short break. The staff are very friendly and helped with all our questions throughout our stay. Prague for NY is a lot of fun. Busy, but very safe for families celebrating! We will definitely be visiting again.

Loved this stylist hotel, our room was modern, spotless clean, comfortable bed and pillows, kitchenette, washing machine dishwasher Nespresso coffee machine, air con, under floor heating in shower room. Highly recommended location near Charles Bridge, Friendly staff on reception desk. We really enjoyed our stay at the Old Royal post hotel.

Really impressed with this hotel, couldn’t be happier. To start with the place is nicely located on a quiet side street of Mala Strana, but only about 5-minutes walk to Charles Bridge and the Old City. There are a couple of minimarts and a tram stop just 100-200m away and best of all, a great little pizzeria right across the road. We were warmly received by the very friendly hotel staff, all spoke great English and helped us out with our many queries. We had a second storey room, more like a studio apartment, with an outlook over the courtyard. The room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with a basic but functional kitchenette. TV, Wifi, and AC all worked great, but we really wished that there was a microwave in the kitchen. We were very pleased to have a washing machine in the room and did several loads of wash during our stay. The king-size bed was very comfortable and there was absolutely no outside noise to contend with, so we had really peaceful sleeps. This place really felt like a home away from home for us. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to other travelers.
