We were in Falkenstein Hotel for 3 nights and had a normal double room. First to the positive: Breakfast is really good and in addition to the buffet are served on order fresh things like omelets, Porige & Co. On the buffet there could be a little more vegan choice. Except for a humus and alternative milk there was not much. This does not fit to a modern young hotel. However, you can say that breakfast is fresh, lovely and sufficiently rich. Also the staff at breakfast is very friendly and attentive! However, what we have never experienced is that the buffet is really closed in time and everything is immediately cleared. That is uncomfortable and does not fit to a high-end hotel. Now to the negative aspects: In general, we were not satisfied with our stay. The lobby & bar is modern and stylish. The lifts are obsolete and the fence works more after a motel. The rooms are small (but not bad for us!) However, there also lacks some lovely details that you would expect in a 5-star hotel. The coffee machine is a little old and calcified, too, there is no water cooker but tea accessories which is somewhat questionable. The worst was the service at the lobby and the cleaning forces!! During our stay, we had always been in the lobby to face the same gentleman who appeared unfriendly and unsympathetic. One day after cleaning our room, we stayed without toilet paper and without a single towel! We have drawn attention to this and received a slightly annoying reaction instead of an excuse! The price-performance ratio is unfortunately not true in this hotel and we have made better experiences with 5 and 4 stars hotels in Prague.

The hotel is elegant and decadent. Conveniently situated and a short distance to the city main shopping high street and amenities. The bedroom was tasteful, spacious and quiet. Staff are attentive and friendly that created that level of ambience. Special gratitude to the concierge gentleman and the young waitress at breakfast. Breakfast buffet and in my opinion provided a good selection for our requirements. It's a shame that the hotel restaurant was not opened in the evening as we would of loved to have dined in it for one of our evening stays. However, we did enjoy our stay there. The only negative really was that there was no coffee/tea making facilities in our room. I would of expected this as a standard particularly in a 5 star hotel. That said, we would recommend the hotel. It's beautiful, ideally situated, and like I said, the staff were friendly.

We have just stayed 4 nights at this lovely hotel The reception on arrival, was very friendly and efficient, supported by the Manager, Martin. We were offered a Suite on the second floor, which was everything we expected. The only slight niggle, was the noise of the trams outside from 4:30 am, so I would advise people to perhaps select the opposite side of the building, but other than that, the suite catered for all our needs, with plenty of space. We had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and we found the food to be excellent, accompanied by very attentive service. Our only other suggestion, would be to ask the staff at the lobby bar, to be slightly more attentive to guests waiting for drinks, as it became a little frustrating having to wait at times. The Spa is lovely and a great place to relax after a busy day in Prague. Overall, absolutely delighted with our stay; and if we return to Prague, we will visit NH Collection Prague Carlo 1V.

Excellent location n at most 5 mins walk from the main train station Room size is moderate n big comparing to Asian hotels amenities are ok though despite offering the same things for hand face and hair lol Breakfast is included and good to have a chance to meet fellow travelers. It should be the best hotel in Prague's old town, at least with the best design. Coffee and tea are provided at the front desk for check-in, the bedding is good and memory pillows are provided, and the hotel's ZEM restaurant is very good. I have tried the gym SPA and it is not bad, but the gym is small (a common problem in European hotels) Overall, the experience in Prague was good. When I checked out, I was strongly urged by the Ctrip taxi driver. I forgot a small LV bag. I contacted the hotel later and the hotel helped recommend a courier company. It was a pity that the international shipping fee was 127 euros, but the hotel handled it reliably. I like it.

Good point is super quiet room.

We stayed here 2 nights on our way to Croatia by car. The room was big and suitable for all 4 (2 adults and 2 daughters 16&19). We made a very late booking and also had a ferry delay but the staff made all the arrangements for a smooth late checkin and also the parking for the car. The hotel is centrally located with walking distance to the center. Would absolutely recommend the hotel, especially for the serviceminded staff.

This is the only hotel in the Czech Republic that has prepared slippers. Hahaha... The front desk is also super good. We will prepare the map for us and help us set the next day. The taxi to the airport is regrettable because there is no calculation time and no early breakfast.

We spent a week here. The exterior of the hotel is reminiscent of the communist era, but the interior of the hotel will make you forget it quickly, so don't be intimidated by the hotel's exterior. The room was clean and very big, the interior was very nice and comfortable. We checked into this hotel with a Firefly voucher at a very reasonable price. The voucher includes hotel breakfast. For a 3-star hotel, this choice is very correct, so we are symmetrically satisfied. The waiter's service is also very good, our check-in and check-out procedures are very fast. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. One night we decided to try to finish our meal a la carte in the hotel restaurant and we were really amazed by the quality of the meal and the quality of the food. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. We had the best risotto in all of Prague. Recommend everyone to try it.

Stayed at the Praha 5 with my husband and two sons plus their girlfriends (all in their 20s). We were all impressed with the wide comfortable beds, the stylish bathrooms and the friendly service. (I was there on my birthday and they marked it with birthday cake and towel sculptures :-)). The breakfast was tasty too and the hotel was very clean. This area of Prague is a 25 minute walk from the Petrin Tower, but very close to a good shopping area, and eating out around here is relatively cheap.

We have a really lovely stay here, beds we’re very comfortable! Staff were always on hand for help and were very pleasant! Great location, literally opposite the main bus station/metro! Overall we were very happy with our stay & would happily stay again!

I stayed in a dorm-style room. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The hotel itself is well taken care of and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is optimal as well and is a good jumping off point to reach multiple parts of the city (old and new). The beds were a little lumpy but not the worst. I was still able to get a good night's rest. Would stay there again- perhaps in a regular room though. I also LOVED that the key cards were wooden. And the shower gel and soaps smelled really nice.

Review of sat 23.12.23: Room 301 hotel Zlatá Váha Prague Czech Republic. Spacious hotel. Walking distance from main train station. Moved from room 1106 to room 301 due to tram noise. 301 is a paraplegic room that was only available. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Rooms are warm and heated. The bathroom is spacious. Basic furniture. No safe or coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast had a variety. Close to the main train station.
