The 4-star superior hotel La Barcarolle sits in a secluded spot on the eastern shore of Lake Geneva- in 5000sqm of parkland surrounded by trees with fantastic views of the famous Mont Blanc. It enjoys direct access to the lake. Facilities include the Le Huit restaurant with local and Mediterranean cuisine- an outdoor pool- a beach bar opened between May to September and a suite of meeting and event rooms. Geneva airport is only 20 minutes by car. The romantic Old Town of Nyon is only a few minutes drive. Boat tours are available on the lake as are a number of water sports. The garden lakefront has comfortable outdoor seating and sun loungers as does the terrace and outdoor pool area. All of the 38 comfortably furnished and air-conditioned rooms are south-facing and have a terrace or balcony with view to the lake.They offer unlimited WIFI-private safe-television with over 100 channels- mini bar- a magnifying mirror- heated towel rail- hair dryer and bathrobe. A choice of different pillows is available too. The restaurant Le Huit serves Mediterranean and local creations made by a talented kitchen team. Outdoor parking is available free of charge. The minimum age for check in is 18. Children aged up to 12 years can use a crib or extra bed at no charge. Children aged 13 years and over can use an extra bed at a charge of CHF 50 per child per night.

We stayed here on our way to Geneva and had a good experience. It has a good location by the lake and is off the highway so it was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not eat here during our stay, but the dinner menu looked good (a little pricey). There was plenty of parking and it was easy to find the property. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely stay here again.

Booked in for four days as we were at a wedding and the reception was being held in this hotel. Comfortable hotel on the lake. Bedrooms a good size and we had a side view of the lake. Restaurant food was really good, the prices were reasonable (for Switzerland!) and the restaurant staff were friendly, as were all the staff in the hotel

I would 100% return. Lovely quiet classic hotel. Enjoyed a cigar on the patio with drinks. Swiss efficiency. I walked to hotel from Nyon one night and it was pleasant. The whole area is breathtaking with the alps and the lake. A magical place I must visit again. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Nothing felt out of place. Pin drop quiet at night. The train system is amazing. Wine is excellent (Chasselas) from local vineyards which are on hillsides in every direction. French is not required but would have made the trip smoother but all staff in the hotel spoke English as did 90% of staff at restaurants and shops that I visited. Local cuisine was European/ French style but locals seemed to prefer Italian and Asian. Perch from Lake Geneva was the local authentic dish. I also had solid Chinese food in Rolle.

We booked for four days because this was the hotel where our niece's wedding reception was being held. Lovely hotel in a superb location on the lake. Nice country house feel to the hotel where the staff were friendly and the restaurant food was really good

Staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessary for a comfortable stay. In particular, the wedding venue for my daughter was well organised, the food (and wine) were superb and the staff very attentive to the needs of all the wedding guests.

We love the location of this hotel and the staff are amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. It is a little oasis outside of Geneva that we escape to when we spend time in the region. The bar / restaurant staff are particularly attentive!
