The Cote Saint-Jacques provides a great location to mix business and pleasure. The staff are ultra-attentive and obliging, the rooms luxurious, the common areas inviting and relaxing, and the food is among the best I have tasted in more than 40 years of global travel. We benefitted greatly from the advice provided by Thomas the sommelier. He took time to explain the origin and production of local wines and introduced us to some outstanding examples - simply delicious!

excellent chef , one of the best in France. Staff is perfect and the view of the room is very nice. But the decoration of the room mainly is not at all at the level of a 5 starts in 2024

Continues to be a really good experience. Great welcome. We had a huge, beautiful room in the main hotel with exposed roof beams. The wonderful restaurant doesnt disappoint. We hope to return … again.

A perfect stay from A to Z. The "voiturier" expected us when we arrived! A very cosy room looking out to the Yonne river, a very professional, friendly staff at every contact. And the best: the kitchen is outstanding. The "maitre des lieux" and grand chef, J.M. Lorain, waits for you after dinner to know if you truly enjoyed the experience. Well, yes we truly did.

The hotel is beautiful, sat right on the river with spacious rooms, providing gorgeous views. We enjoyed a large balcony bathed an afternoon, sun, spacious room with luxurious linens. Our trip to the spa was quite enjoyable with excellent facilities and attentive staff. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Presented as a top luxury hotel, part of the Relais Chateaux group, la Cote St Jacques has an old fashioned design, with a very poor style in the suite we stayed in (room 24). Although very spacious, the room is decorated with plastic flowers, an outdated TV from the 90s, strangely positioned right in the middle of the suite with a chandelier just on top of it, brownish aluminum frames all over, and a simili leather couch. There is no radio or Bluetooth audio and the capsules compatible with the Nespresso machine are made with cheap coffee. It feels like a cheap hotel room which pretends to be a castle. For such a high price (€650 per night) you can get a much better experience in any other 5 star hotel. This is all the more disappointing as the service was amazingly friendly and efficient, from room service to spa, to the concierge and catering team. And this review would not be fair without saying that the 2 star Michelin one of the best we've been to.

1 day visit for lunch and spa. The decor is very cosy and confortable and understood the dining room had been recently fully renovated (the decor is very chic, the outside light and scenery is reflected by mirrors which give an impressive feeling of space). I treat myself with the 4 main dishes and 2 deserts menu just to make sure I didn’t mis anything Was a fantastic experience from the beginning to the end with surprising mix and flavours and an amazing way to present the dishes. The service is very high standard: very kind, knowledgeable, discreet. Special bravo for the young staff.
