Guesthouse Urša

Highly recommend this hotel which is nearby the airport. The hotel owner who is a couple are super friendly. Upon our arrival, they offered us free fresh juice and some eateries. Before we went to sleep, they even offered us a try of the typical local blue blurry wine. The breakfast is simple but comprises everything we need. The owner even gave us a free drive to the airport saying it is not easy to catch Taxi by that hour. As a whole we love this short but super warm day.

The owner was wonderful. She met us when we checked in with a welcome drink and a great appetizer that we had for dinner. She had tons of maps and information on surrounding things to see. The room was great and very clean and warm. They even had a washer and dryer for us to use for free. This was one of the friendliest hotels I have ever been to and can not wait to come back.

Exceptional guesthouse close to Ljubjana airport This is an EXCEPTIONAL guesthouse with the most amazingly kind, thoughtful and generous host. Every single day she left us small treats (croissants in the morning, beers or cakes in the evening) and was ful of good advice and tourist information. The guesthouse felt brand new - rooms incredibly clean and comfortable, with all necessary items for a confortable stay. The kitchen was an added bonus, and again this was perfectly clean and well equipped (microwave, dishwaser, washing machine...). And to top it all of, the stunning view over the mountains from the terrace where we could have breakfast in the morning sun. Perfectly located for visiting the Slovenian Alps and Lakes, we will definitely return to guesthouse Ursa and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family! Superb stay in every way! A wonderful place! Had an absolutely amazing stay. The accommodation is immaculate and high quality and the staff just incredibly helpful and lovely. The food in the restaurant is amazing too. Easily the best place I stayed in throughout Slovenia, and in a great location for exploring the area. Highly recommend staying there and hope to return one day.
