"We went with a group and from what I understand, that's how it works... The carpets on the 2 floors we stayed were dirty, breakfast didn't have many choices, lunch was one of the same, the salads were placed in a place without any temperature that would keep them cool and some were rotten, overall disappointment. At the mojito bar they don't know how to make lemonade, you can tell."

"This is a wonderful hotel. A hidden gem, in beautiful surroundings. Five minutes from a lovely, quiet beach. The staff were fantastic, friendly and would do anything for you. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and had great facilities. The pool was great in order to cope with the heat of the afternoon. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful each day - fantastic choice. I would highly recommend the hotel. Evening meals in Preveza were fantastic, with a 7 Euro taxi fare each way per night. Try the restaurants in the back streets of the town. Walks along the harbour in the evening lovely. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. 25 Euro for a taxi to the airport. Overall, a wonderful stay, which went far too quickly!"

"An amazing architectural wonder in the middle of nowhere!! In absolute blend with nature and the biodiversity of its surroundings the building boosts of beauty and harmony. On the beach front - with your room pool as close to the beach as anything! Quiet and relaxing ideal to switch off and relax. Everything is beautifully chosen and every piece of furniture is chosen with much detail, elegance and class. Dinner was excellent, our breakfast wonderful and so was our room service. "This hotel exceeded our expectations. It was recently renovated, and everything was done with high quality and taste, with a pleasant color scheme. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, including two different types of toasters, an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and a full set of dishes and pots and pans. There's even an oven and a washing machine. An iron is also available. The soundproofing is good. The host was very welcoming and polite. The location is convenient, close to the beach and the city center. We couldn't find a single flaw, only positives."

"It is located at a key point up to there, but then, the rooms need more cleaning and painting, the carpets are unacceptable in terms of appearance, I avoid characterizing them. In terms of bed linen, however, they should, for reasons of hygiene, provide protection to the beds and pillows. As for the food, the food should be protected and what needs to be refrigerated there you should serve and not 4 four days almost the same dinner and breakfast. About the entertainment non existent there should be a live music on the 4 four day schedule If I knew about this picture we would have chosen something else The staff most kind"

Hooga is Ｃｏｓｉｎｅｓｓ and hospitality in esthetic surroundings with a high level of service. We give this place 5 stars. 1 for Adi & Rodiqua serving a perfect breakfast 1 for the friendly & helpfull staff all over 1 for the esthetic decorations and surroundings 1 for the delicious foods & drinks 1 for the atmosphere & positive energy flowing here We also want to highlight the charming village with lots of friendly people around. "Our stay was one night after our flight was cancelled. They made us extremely welcome and could not do enough for us. The room was lovely & clean. The bed was comfortable, the room had everything that is necessary including a nice sized balcony. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of cold continental & bacon & eggs. The pool was a nice temperature in a lovely, peaceful setting of olive & lemon trees and well kept with flowers beds dotted around. Poolside had a small bar selling drinks, nibbles and the ability to order from a small menu & perfectly adequate. My husband walked down to the nearby beach & we were told of a nice restaurant nearby too. We would love to return again so that we can explore the area and chill in the beautiful surroundings of the Alonaki Resort Aparthotel. Can highly recommend"

"A great hotel and a perfect discovery for us. A good size room with air conditioning and a balcony. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our flight was delayed, and we didn't check in until after 11pm, but this was not an issue. As regulars to Prevesa, where we sail from, this hotel is going to be the perfect bolt-hole for those occasions when the flights don't match the change-over days. I'll be recommending the hotel to all my fellow sailors."

"After our 1st night at Meraviglia slow living , I got awaken by super itchy clustered pimples (by 3 at least for each cluster). Upon my request , the hotel accepted to move us to another room, where I also noticed other pimples immediately on the next morning. Checked by a pharmacist in Lefkada , and later on back to our country, they both confirmed these were from bed bugs. Looking at the bed slats pics with a specialised company , they also confirmed these were from « installed » bugs nest around. When I raised the point to them ,The hotel staff was first telling me that it was from insects, then ,when I asked for a financial compensation , they tried to convince me , we brought them in the room, and that it was our fault ! ( all previous days before we checked in were perfectly fine , so non sense). Despite several exchanges ,I didn’t manage to get any commercial compensation except a future discount on a future stay.. no thanks ! These 3 nights stay have literally ruined the rest of our holidays and even more back home.. So be sure you want to take this risk when you book that place, and be prepared that the hotel team will be in complete denial !"

"My studio apartments was very modern and exceptionally clean, with great sea views. There is a lovely garden area which has some shade and is a lovely place to have an early evening drink. The staff and owners were all very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for local places to eat. A gift of some local produce in my room on arrival was a lovely gesture. The location is great being near the sea and you can easy book a taxi into the town for only 5 euro. The beach right by the apartment complex is rocky and so would not be ideal for children. However access is easy for swimming and there are sandy beaches nearby. The day I arrived there were quite a few children staying at the complex so it was quite noisy. Luckily they all left the next day and it was very peaceful for the next week. Preveza town is lovely and there are some great things to see in the local area if you hire a car."

The people on reception couldn’t have been more helpful, organising taxis, recommending local restaurants… We ate at Akrotiri Restaurant a few mins walk away…a real surprise for such a small village - the food was the best we had our entire break.
