Quality Inn Near Joint Base Andrews-Washington Area

Checked in after 12:15AM was given a smoking room and the FD staff started arguing that it is a NON-SMOKING room and THEY are supposed to take the SMOKING sign out of the door of that room. So we got moved to room 151. The FD agent said that she will bring the keys waited for sometime but there were no signs of her so we went downstairs to get the key. Now in RM151, at 12:30AM we are struggling to open the door as the installation of the door lock was done so poorly. In the shower the shower-head will have limited water because the water will constantly run in the tub and you get free hip-hop music as the shower makes so much noise, told the FD but they speak very little English so was no help. We go to B-Fast and wanted some hard boiled eggs and while picking up found a hair as the eggs were not wrapped and anyone can touch it as there were no tongs. Told the staff and they brought the hard boiled eggs out, upon taking only one bite we threw up because the eggs were rotten, smelly. Didn't said anything and left and shortened our stay to 2 nights but never went to bfast. Now we were heading out and wanted to iron clothes turn the iron ON and did a test and saw huge black residue in one of the pillow cover, went to Front Desk and asked for another iron which he didn't have after 10 minutes a HK comes to the room and handed me another gross iron to which I said I will not use it and need a one which does't have the burnt residue, thank god she gave me one. Saw the GM's name outside but never saw him once seems like he doesn't care. Overall, this is not a very clean hotel, the staff doesn't speak English, rotten breakfast and broken shower with free hip-hop music. I wonder how this hotel is keeping the brand name as the place looks shabby and the run down.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites College Park-University Area

This hotel, although, conveniently located, is on a very, very, very busy street. Very close to the University, and a lot of fun places to eat and hang out, but it comes at the cost of being in an ever so slightly “shady” area. Once inside the hotel, you forget about all of it, and the staff do an excellent job of making you feel welcome and this older property. I will agree with some of the other reviewers that it is conveniently located to the green line, but we were unprepared for all of the fees associated with parking and riding in to DC. We wish we would have reserved parking lot in town and just driven.
Rodeway Inn Joint Base Andrews Area

I stayed here several times when it was still part of the Quality Inn and one time when it was a Roadway. That time there was some suspect behavior with **********s so I left. I made the mistake of booking here because of a last minute family emergency but even for that I’d NEVER stay here. Once we finally got into room 108 there were burns EVERYWHERE. The blanket, sheets, wall paper, door, carpet, table, even the TOILET SEAT had burns in it. I don’t even know how you burn a toilet seat?! But it smelled of smoke even though it was listed as smoke free, had a hole in the wall, a large piece of furniture was missing (chair or couch) the bed had a big dip in it, stains everywhere, door lock was broken as If someone tried to kick the door in, heater was broken, and it was just an overall disaster. I literally checked in and checked right out within 15 minutes. I absolutely wouldn’t stay here. We think the room was used for drugs with the small little burns everywhere. Just horrible.
Best Western Plus College Park Hotel

The hotel is across the street from the University of Maryland. There are supermarkets such as LIDL, CVS, Burger King and McDonald's nearby. Life is fairly convenient. The hotel has a parking lot, not small, and there is a gas station next to it, suitable for self-driving. The breakfast is decent, not rich, but there is everything that should be there. Front desk service is also quite enthusiastic. In addition to the price announced by Ctrip, there is also a County Tax of $6.55 per night
Comfort Inn Conference Center

Met up with a friend and we ended up staying here as even a suite was cheaper than any place in Annapolis and it’s not that far away. Arrived and waited only a minute behind a guy asking questions and the clerk (one of two working) apologized multiple times for the wait. A sign posted at the front desk noted that they wouldn’t be doing stay-over housekeeping on Saturdays - meaning they’re one of a very few places I’ve seen still offering it, at least for six days out of the week. They definitely didn’t seem to have staffing challenges - every time I walked by the desk, including as a late as 10:00 p.m., I saw two people on duty. Some places have one person on duty for the whole establishment, meaning the front desk is often unattended. Not the case here. All of the staff I interacted with were courteous and professional. The room was clean and a typical Comfort Inn room. The suite had a separate bedroom and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Even though it was two weeks after Labor Day the outdoor pool was still available. There’s a bar and restaurant on side that’s open limited hours in the evenings. The bartender/waitress was awesome and even stuck around after the kitchen closed at the official closing time to keep serving drinks. The menu was limited to mainly appetizers and bar food but it was decent and very reasonably priced. They use the restaurant for the well-stocked hot breakfast buffet and I like that they used real plates and silverware as opposed to disposable items. This was definitely an above-average hotel breakfast and non-guests could eat for $9. My only complaint was that the waffle maker was not available. All in all, this is decent choice at a reasonable price.
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham DC Metro Capital Beltway

I been going to this hotel for 2 yrs every month for a staycation to get away. This one time hotel guests arguing in hallway disturbing guests cops called. Cops came bck 2nd night banging on guest door wellness check. I stayed 2 nights no rest, noise & scared 1st night for my safety because of arguing in hallway. It's so ghetto there now! I'm told by Mgr or night supervisor I can get refund at checkout or at least half but Mgr Pricilla Harris refused she offered me points but no money back or free night. I always stayed on 2nd floor only once 1st floor. I would have stayed 1 night on 1st floor near entrance ONLY. I believe I'm owed all or half refund for 1 night my rest was disturb I was terrified entire night. It's straight Ghetto now. They lost a loyal customer because I'll never go to that location again at Hampton Park Blvd in Capital Heights MD
