Derand Hotel

I stayed at Derand Hotel in Prishtina in March and loved it so much that I came back again this October. It’s truly one of the best hotels — perfect location, very clean, and with the kindest, most helpful people. The hospitality is outstanding. The manager Herolind and staff Eda, Rean, and Valjeta always make you feel at home, and Valbona from the cleaning team keeps everything spotless and welcoming. Whenever we visit Kosovë and spend time in the city, this is always where I stay. I’m even having my daughter stay here when she visits — that’s how much I trust and love this place. Highly recommend!

We paid €450 for one night (18th floor) and it was a nightmare. Only one bed was made for four people. The sofa bed had no sheets – reception told us to “check the closet”. We found only uncovered pillows and a blanket and had to make the bed ourselves. The carpet was wet, the bathroom door was broken, huge moths were flying around… and at night I woke up with a COCKROACH crawling on me. Absolutely disgusting! Staff was rude and offered no solution. In my opinion, this is nowhere near 5-star quality. Stay away – you will regret booking this place.

They promised a included breakfast when I booked, but when we arrived they said they no longer serve breakfast. They refunded 15€ and we were supposed to have 3 breakfasts for 4 peole during our stay. To me this sounds ridiculous.

Property was fantastic. Rooftop is a plus!

not a hotel, a loud night club with rooms they say, don't judge a book by the cover, well this was a great example of that. Hotel looks great on photos.... and the rooms are, however, the place is a construction site, gym, spa and parking still under construction... The restaurant was pretty poor in every sense, from the waiter’s professionalism level to the food quality, the breakfast buffet was a sham, except the hometel the chef made me, and to finish with a waiter chasing me to pay for a coffee that was not included in the buffet after paying 153€ a night with breakfast included…. If you’re planning to sleep before 1AM, good luck ! there is a night club on the 20th floor and vibrates the whole hotel, and the elevators are a joke!! They must be form Temu, they take ages to arrive, to find that they are super extra small and will be fully packed with people going up and down from the night club…. (during the evening) they glitch and do weird stuff also. When I checked in, I was given a Deluxe room on the 20th floor, to my surprise, when I opened the door there was people in bed watching TV! Also, not sure about the clientele in the nightclub, but it looked a bit suspicious to me, having a lot of luxury cars line Bentleys, Mercedes G class, Porsche’s and high-end Audi’s everywhere, and all were gone by morning, not what you would expect on city like this in Kosovo…. In conclusion, this is not a hotel in my view, it’s a “nightclub” with rooms. I ran as far as I could in the morning and found another hotel

Superb!! Hotel and room was super nice. I had comfy sleep on the bed. Staffs were very very kind and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Everything i really enjoyed.
