"The location is fantastic, right next to the Shuiguan Great Wall scenic area, and very close to both Badaling and Juyongguan sections of the Great Wall. Yuelli is probably the best in terms of hygiene facilities in this area, and the hotel's design and layout are very well-thought-out and user-friendly. You can walk just a few steps out the door and start climbing the Shuiguan Great Wall, and you can see the Great Wall from your room when you open the window. The hotel also has large platforms on the first floor and rooftop for guests to relax. The management, staff, and even the cleaning aunties are all incredibly warm, welcoming, and meticulous. We stayed for two nights and it truly felt like a home away from home, which was wonderful. It's perfect for those traveling by car, as parking is available right at the entrance, which is very convenient. There are a few decent restaurants within a one-kilometer radius as well."

Only complaint we had was the echos from within the mall that the hotel is built in. There was some type of concert ongoing during our stay and it was especially loud throughout the night making it hard to sleep. i feel even without an event, the echos that pass throughout the rooms would be quite loud because the hotel is within an open-air mall."

"Villa Qinran is a stunning, hidden gem located approximately one mile from the shuttle buses and ticket office of the Mutianyu Great Wall. The staff are on call all day to help and help they do, especially Yue. The villa has a shared kitchen dining and lounge area. As I travelled in the off season neither the pool or hot springs were full. Additionally as I planned a sunrise hike of the wall and subsequently missed breakfast the staff went above and beyond to package up my breakfast so it was waiting still warm upon my return!"

"This is a wondeful little guesthouse. We arrived late and in the middle of a thunderstorm and the owner was there waiting for us. Then the location next to the wall is perfect. the view of the wall from the bedroom studie is stunning and It's about a 5 minute walk to the entrance gate. We went early and were able to avoid the crowds. The room was nice and clean and beds were super comfy! I would recommend staying here if you want to visit the wall"
