"This is our top choice for a resort hotel in Sanya Bay. It's close to the airport and many attractions like Tianya Haijiao, Nanshan Temple, West Island, and Dadongtian. The hotel is very large, and there are tons of activities for kids and families every day – our little one absolutely loved it! There are also many restaurants around the hotel; we easily found Hainanese specialties like Coconut Chicken and Zao Po Cu right downstairs, which was super convenient. The main highlight was the incredible service from our dedicated butler. He was so thoughtful and attentive. On our check-in day, it happened to be my birthday. When he found out, he immediately contacted other staff to arrange birthday decorations and a cake for us. Although we didn't make it back in time that day, they still made sure to provide it for us the next day. During our stay, he frequently checked in on our experience, and whenever we had a need or a question, he was always professional in his answers and quick to resolve any issues. "The Eagle's Nest, their top-selling room, is a must-try! We stayed in room 2001, and the view was incredible, right by the Heavenly Lake. You can even see the 'trial marriage' room (not a show flat) at 9999 from a distance. The room layout was exactly as pictured online. To sum up, the Swan Suite is the closest to the restaurant, so it's a quick walk to eat. The Cloud Roc suites are at the highest elevation, but they're guest rooms, so they're not as popular. Other room types are spread across different peaks. The hotel is 3km from Yalong Bay Night Market and Baihua Night Market. The Liupan Night Market at the foot of the mountain is also quite affordable. A big thank you to Manager Sun for specially arranging a fruit platter for us!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel for a week and wanted to compare it to my experience four years ago. The hotel's exterior has barely changed over this period, now looking a bit worn. It's clear that there haven't been any renovations or updates to the facilities in years. However, it still maintains a comfortable atmosphere. On the other hand, you can also sense that hotel management is doing everything possible to cut costs, trimming anything they deem non-essential. The breakfast has become much simpler, with very, very, very limited variety and options. The food also has a distinctly ”cheap” taste. Of course, you won't go hungry, and you'll always find one or two dishes you like, but it's certainly not the lavish buffet you'd expect from a high-end hotel anymore. Evidence of cost-cutting is also visible in the hotel's infrastructure and beach area. There aren't many sun loungers on the beach, and most of them are in need of repair. However, not everything is negative. The hotel staff are still incredibly hardworking and enthusiastic. Rooms are cleaned promptly, the bedding and towels are spotlessly white, and the front desk staff are very efficient. Overall, these are the most important aspects for any hotel. By international standards, this hotel genuinely deserves a 3-4 star rating. Regarding the hotel's location, I'd like to highlight Xiaodonghai Bay. It's picturesque with beautiful scenery, far from the perpetually bustling Dadonghai. For those seeking tranquility, it's an excellent choice, yet it's also close enough to Dadonghai that you can easily take a taxi to the vibrant resort areas."

"Very satisfied! The hotel is really close to the airport, which was perfect for our last day of vacation before flying out. There was a bit of noise, but it was totally fine once we closed the windows and doors. The room was spacious and the air felt fresh, no musty smell at all – probably because it gets great natural light and sunshine, keeping it from feeling damp. There were lots of thoughtful touches, like a dedicated walk-in closet for luggage, and the vanity area had excellent lighting, perfect for makeup. The balcony offered a lovely sea view. The pool was sparkling clean, and the beach and sea were spotless. The butler service was exceptionally good – very responsive and incredibly helpful. A special shout-out to Ms. Jingmei (景美)! She gave us fantastic recommendations for visiting Xidao Island and other attractions; her advice was much more reliable than anything we found on Xiaohongshu or other travel guides!"

"My experience at Sanya Yalong Bay No. 5 Villa Resort completely exceeded my expectations for a 'holiday getaway'! The moment I stepped into the resort, I was captivated by the bamboo grove path – tall green bamboo trees created a canopy, and a winding stone path led deeper inside. It felt like stumbling into a secluded Jiangnan garden, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that wonderfully contrasted with Sanya's tropical vibe 🌿. Walking towards the villas, I was surrounded by coconut groves and lake views, with staggered rooftops and clouds circling distant mountains. It was as if the rainforest had been brought right into the hotel; every step was a picturesque scene that needed no filter. The infinity pool was the biggest surprise! With crystal-clear water on one side and the lake view on the other, and hazy mountains in the distance, soaking in the water and watching the clouds drift by made time itself slow down. From the gardens to the facilities, from the private and well-appointed villas to the incredibly healing greenery everywhere, this stay cemented the 'holiday ritual' into the experience. Five stars aren't even enough to praise it!"

"The room is spacious and well-maintained, despite the decor being a bit dated. Located halfway up the mountain, it offers sea views and is very quiet at night. It's super convenient for self-driving trips as you can drive your car right into the scenic area! The breakfast ingredients are high-quality and delicious, and the herbal drink (Qingbuliang) is particularly refreshing!"

"The neighborhood environment is nice, very close to the beach. The building has secured access, ensuring safety. The room is spacious and relatively clean, especially the bedding which was very clean and comfortable to sleep on. We did encounter two small flying insects at night, which is understandable since it's by the sea and the balcony door was left open. There were some small ants (or something similar) on the dining table, but they weren't really a problem. Everything else was great. The host provided excellent service, responding quickly to messages, and we were able to store our luggage at the front desk. Overall, it offers good value for money and I recommend it."

"This is hands down the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at! The room was spotless and very clean. The owner, in particular, was incredibly kind and helpful. He proactively assisted us with our two suitcases upon arrival and even helped carry our luggage to the street corner when we checked out. All our requests were promptly and efficiently taken care of. The location is beyond words – simply walk downstairs, and you're right on the beach! The sea view from the room was absolutely stunning. He also recommended several local eateries that were frequented by locals, and the food was so delicious – it was the most satisfying meal we'd had in days. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Super highly recommended!"

"Due to my late arrival, the hotel generously upgraded my room to one with an infinity pool – can you believe it? They put me in their absolute best room! Upon entering, all I could see was the ocean 🌊. The decor was incredibly stylish, spotlessly clean, and the ambiance was absolutely perfect. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate any request. All the beverages in the mini-bar were complimentary and unlimited – this really won me over! In the evening, heading down to the beach bar, listening to music 🎵 and watching fireworks 🎆 was incredibly relaxing. The hotel also offered 3 complimentary travel photos. I paid extra to select a few more, and while it cost extra, I only paid for photos I was genuinely happy with – they were far superior to the typical, mass-produced souvenir shots. It was an absolutely fantastic trip – ladies, don't even think twice, just book it!"

"The toilet flush was powerful, which is a big relief because a weak flush is my biggest fear when staying at a hotel. They also provided disposable toiletries, towels, and bath towels, which was great 👍🏻. The front desk staff even offered shuttle service to and from the parking lot when they had time, which helps guests save money – much appreciated ✓. The owner kindly provided an electric scooter for free. The morning shift lady and the evening shift gentleman made me feel very safe. The front desk reception was super warm and friendly, never impatient – full marks for attitude 💯. The owner really knows how to run a place! Now, it just needs a little more, like if I could get a coffee in the morning, it would be absolutely perfect."
