This was a last minute trip to Süd Tirol/Alto Adige. Thanks to Sawday's recommendation we chose the Naturhoel Saalerwirt. We are on our 3rd day at this fabulous family-run hotel. The food is wonderful, the staff professional and efficient, the spa treatments are fantastic (thank you Karin for the best facial) and the Tauber family hosts are gracious and hospitable. The location is in a tiny hamlet at the top of the hill with wonderful views. Expect starry, moonlit nights in a forest environment. Highly recommend this hotel for a quiet, peaceful stay.

A wonderful hotel in a stunning and peaceful location. I spent a long weekend here, the room was spacious and comfortable, the food is great and the Tauber family so welcoming. The views are out of this world. So much is included! The spring water from the tap outside is the most fresh and clear water. There is a free shuttle bus to the lifts at Kronplatz, free yoga in a beautiful studio and a fabulous spa. Plus you get a ticket for free bus travel in the region. Foot paths start from outside the building, up into the forest or down to the bus stop, a lovely 30 minute walk through trees. I highly recommend this hotel.

For years we have been coming punctually every summer to this hotel / farm that I would define out of time. It always seems like the first time, the place is enchanting almost surreal, refined cuisine, very kind staff, and what about that pond that seems to come out of a fairy tale. Here the plug is truly disconnected, thanks to the Tauber family for preserving this wonder and making its guests enjoy it.

We spent 4 wonderful days in the Saalerwirt. What did we particularly like? The fantastic kitchen, the personal service and our beautiful room. The location is also perfect: María Saalen is far away from the hustle and bustle in the valley and yet you can be at Plan de Corones or in Brunico in just a few minutes

We stayed at the Hotel Saalerwirt for three nights in January 2022 and were delighted by the atmosphere and the attention to detail. The sauna area is modern and the relaxation area in particular is beautifully designed. There is a hot Finnish sauna, a slightly milder herbal sauna and a steam bath. Here, too, there are many lovely little touches that round off the overall picture: fireplace, cozy blankets on the loungers, etc. We were also completely satisfied with the food. The wine tasting on offer is highly recommended!! All in all, we were very impressed with our stay and would book again immediately.

Die Lage des Hotels ist definitiv traumhaft und einzigartig, das was Familie Tauber daraus macht ebenso. Tradition und Bestand werden erhalten und sehr gepflegt, moderner Komfort in höchster Qualität hinzugefügt. Wir waren fünf Tage in den Herbstferien hier zu Gast. Alles in allem sehr positiv beeindruckt, hat jedoch das Badehaus samt Team am meisten Eindruck hinterlassen. Durchdachter, erholsamer, angenehmer kann man es sich nicht vorstellen. Absolut herrlich. Dass Kinder herzlich willkommen sind, freut uns sehr.
