Hotel Nastro Azzurro was easy to find and situated in a quiet area, with rates that were reasonable compared to those closer to Lake Como. However, we were disappointed to discover that breakfast was not included, even though we had booked a room with breakfast. What they offered at 5 Euro extra per person felt more like a light, pre-packaged snack, similar to what you'd get on a flight—though the cappuccino was excellent. The hotel provides free parking, which was convenient, but the building itself is quite dated and could use some updates. There is an elevator available to access the upstairs rooms, which was helpful. Our room was quiet, clean, and had all the basics, including a hot shower. However, we avoided using the bed covers, as they looked a bit stale, dirty, and worn. On the bright side, we enjoyed the view from our small balcony. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was no longer in operation. Thankfully, the front desk clerk, Massimo, recommended his sister's restaurant a few kilometers away, which turned out to be a pleasant asurprise. If we were passing through this area of Italy again, we would likely look for a different hotel with better amenities and services.
