"Looks great on website but a close inspection shows a bit of tender loving care is needed. Situated in a nice residential area next to a supermarket. The staff were very good and could not do enough for us. The room although spacious with a large bed was a bit tired looking. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room although there were vending machines on the ground floor Breakfast was good with a large selection of food. On the web it indicates a restaurant but this was not open at all! In addition there was also no bar!"

"Lovely hotel on the shores of Lake Garda. Room 212 has a great view of the lake and gardens. It was spacious and clean with a balcony for watching the boats on the lake. The breakfast selection was varied and replenished as required. All the staff were friendly yet professional. Sonia, Matei and Abdel at reception were very knowledgeable and were able to recommend routes up into Moniga town (it is quite a walk up a steep hill, about 20 minutes) where we were able to get the bus to Salo. Gabriel and Sokhana were brilliant, allowing me to practice my Italian and helping me out with new phrases. Sandro was the master of the bar in the evening. All in all a great place to relax, thanks to everyone."

"The food was good, as you would expect from Michelin Star restaurant, but not fantastic, and not as good as Locanda di Orta. The setting was lovely, and a nice dining room. However, the staff somewhat spoiled the occasion. They were very stiff, unsmiling and full of themselves, confused about their roles, and gave off the impression that they were carrying out important tasks and diners should not get in the way. As an example, I was looking at the menu, and a young waiter turned up, and without a word, removed the menu from in front of me, and placed down some hors d'oeuvres. A pet hate of mine is that restaurant staff don't seem to realise that when people are ready to leave, they ask for the bill, they don't ask for it 10 minutes before they want to leave. I had to ask a dismissive and arrogant young waiter 3 times for the bill. He did not receive a big tip."

"We stayed with a group of friends. We were supposed to be four couples, but unfortunately one couldn't make it. There are only four rooms, so we would have had the whole house to ourselves. Regardless, we had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very charming. The breakfast room is a very convivial space, and we even stayed after dinner to chat. The outdoor area is being renovated, and for the summer, there will also be a swimming pool and a working hot tub. The house has convenient indoor parking and is located on the main road next to a supermarket. We never met the owner, but Mrs. Silvana was very kind and always present at breakfast."

"Positive: Large rooms Comfortable beds, Lovely lake views (at xtra cost) Clean, functional lift Negatives: NO DISCLOSURE re extra E10 each duvet and kettle, E10 for use of garage displayed at reception area, When I queried why Not disclosed initially, was told should have used air con, no other hotel on the holiday of 3 weeks has charged for use of extra blankets or kettle, requested to discuss with manager, was advised manager /owner does not have discussions re pricing 1 meal at restaurant, very small portion, so much cheese, unable to locate the beef in the ragu, unpalatable overpriced in comparison, deserts leftover cakes from breakfast menu , chose to eat externally for the next 3 nights, better price and better food and service. disappointing end to a fantastic holiday Lesson learned, ASK"

"We didn’t like our room or the resort (218€ including dinner for 2 for one night). The receptionist on duty was neither welcoming nor friendly, but he did help us with our luggage. Our room #102 was supposed to be 60 square meters, but it didn’t seem like it (although there was a lot of useless space in the bathroom). It was a big square room with decorated high ceilings. There was a 4-poster bed and two bedside tables. It was one of those beds that is like jelly and when one of us moved, it shook badly. There was a sofa on one side of the room but it was useless to us because the TV screen did not move and the screen faced the bed, not the sofa. There was a big useless chair, an armoire, and a desk for Audre, with a Lavazza coffee machine on it and a mini fridg under it. We saw a table and a chair in the hallway and asked the receptionist to bring them into the room for Dimitri’s desk. We brought in two chairs to use for a luggage rack for Audre’s suitcase. We set the thermostat and the room got too hot. Although the heated towel rack in the bathroom was on when we arrived, it automatically stopped heating and the bathroom got cold. The toilet was very high and uncomfortable. The sink had no stopper and if anything had fallen into it, it would have been lost forever. Audre had to wash the glass in the bathroom because it was dirty. The soap dispenser ran out of soap and it was not refilled soon enough for our next bathroom use. We looked at the outdoor Jacuzzi and it might have been okay but it was too windy the day we might have used it. We had dinner at the Hibou Bistrot and our first impression was good. The server was very nice and friendly. There was a roaring fire when we arrived and we loved sitting near it. We ordered the crostini and then the pork on a skewer. As usual we shared everything. We were brought grissini and bread and they were good. Dimitri liked the crostini but the main dish of pork was dry like cardboard. We didn’t eat it. Dimitri liked the tarte tartin for dessert. Breakfast the next morning was adequate. We were supposed to stay two nights but we decided to leave. The owner made an exception and allowed us to leave without penalty. That was nice!"

"We only went to the SPA for two hours, but, even rereading other people's reviews, we believe that they have no idea how to manage a SPA. But do they know that in winter the water and the environment of the pools must be kept at adequate temperatures (i.e. warm in winter) and in summer, i.e. when we went, the water and the environment must be kept much cooler? The climate in there is unbearable in summer, the indoor pool (also appreciated for how it is made) is unapproachable in summer, due to the temperature, furthermore the emotional showers (?) have all the holes blocked by limescale and practically do not spray anything, the Kneipp path is ridiculous, four sprays blocked by limescale alternating hot/cold at the ankles (so not a torrent of water), there was no need to try the Turkish bath and the sauna because the sweat was pouring down copiously already at the edges of the pool. We, regulars at other SPAs attached to hotels, can say that today we were robbed of €70, which was paid in advance by obligation!! The two hours booked and paid for were reduced by us to just 20 minutes of pure suffering, obviously they don't give us the money back and so on, with other Novara shames!!! As far as I know, SPA means well-being of the body, more or less, but in this center it means suffering. Theft and also lack of security due to the total absence of emergency personnel. I recommend avoiding this shameful place."

"We stayed here two nights and played two round of golf. Just wonderful. The room is convenient, clean and big enough. The bathroom works prefect and the bed is good. The golf course is wonderful. Try to play yellow blue. The red course is lesser quality; it looks like a resort course. We booked the yellow blue course for two days but we only got it once due to a tournament. That was something disappointing; they could (should?) have informed us beforehand. The restaurant is nice with good quality food, a good selection of wines and very friendly staff. The prices of the food / wines are okay / not extremely expensive. We liked our visit and stay. The practice area of chipping , putting etc is very good. One point of attention: it would be appreciated if the greens would be swept in the morning to remove the dew."

"Motel style hotel with large rooms, quite clean. “Buffet” breakfast with very limited choice of sweets and slightly less limited choice of savoury. For sweets they had grandma’s cake, small low-quality industrial croissants and yoghurt with cereals (only one type of cereals not at all crunchy and only one type of plain yoghurt). Then there was bread to fill with butter and jam, fruit (2 bananas, 2 kiwis and mandarins). For savoury food slightly more choice with eggs and bacon, hard boiled eggs, cooked ham and cheese. For drinks instead you could order whatever you wanted. Overall quality of the food, poor!"
