Basic hotel, unpretentious but clean. The bed was really poor, both in terms of structure and linen. It's a shame because the somewhat remote location is convenient for those traveling on the motorway.

I stayed in this family-run hotel over the long weekend of June 2nd. Many advantages, including: Good location Free parking Restaurant and Bar Friendly and helpful staff Good quality/price ratio, especially for meals Good breakfast and dinner: there is a somewhat particular formula for half board where you they can only choose 2 courses included in the menu with limits, but all in all we didn't have a bad experience and the dishes were simple and well prepared. In reference to the defects, I'll start with the meals: everything was fine, as I said, but the menu was limited and repetitive, perhaps it would be enough to add a couple more choices and include at least a third course, to increase satisfaction. The other flaw, however, is the most important: I would like to start by saying that the cleanliness and presentation of the room in general were normal, but I noticed the stained mattress and not because I turned the bed over, it simply showed through under the sheet. In addition to the fact that hygiene and cleanliness (especially of beds) are the first essential must for any category, the rules dictate that between the sheet and mattress there must be if not 1 nice topper, at least 1 quality mattress cover, in short, the basics! But I must say that they immediately did their utmost to resolve the problem with helpfulness and courtesy, which is why I'm sorry that they compromised good overall quality with a gross slip like this which would take little to avoid: so I hope they take this as 1 constructive criticism to improve, because the structure has a fair amount of potential. All in all, I recommend it to anyone looking for an average accommodation, without infamy or praise, as a base for visiting the surrounding area and Florence, which can also be easily reached by train from a nearby station.
