You can watch the sunrise from the backyard. The room is said to be designed by Ferragamo. The bedding is indeed very comfortable. The hotel is on a mountain, and the roads up and down the mountain are dirt roads, which are not easy to drive. There are two restaurants in the hotel. One is a winery. The wine tasting is 140 euros and takes about two hours. The prices of the wines sold in the winery are on the high side.

A superb 11th-century castle hotel with unparalleled views of the Tuscan mountains from both swimming pools. Moreover, the bath salts used in the swimming pool have no chlorine smell at all. The room is exquisitely decorated and has a balcony where you can enjoy the sun and eat snacks outdoors😘

My 4-night or 5-day stay at the Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco property in Montalcino, Tuscany, in March 2024 was truly memorable. We (my wife and I) had the best time and opportunity to explore and learn about Tuscan culture, food, cuisine, and wine. We visited certain locations that tweaked our curiosity and enlivened our imagination. The truffle hunting experience and the Brunello wine tasting commitments were the highlights of our stay because of the visceral quality of the activities. I believe the intimate dinners we had at the Ristorante Campo Del Drago and Osteria La Canonica on March 28 and 29, respectively, were unforgettable from a culinary standpoint. I will surely return to the Castiglion Del Bosco property in the future due to its sheer force of personality or character. The architecture and intelligence of the personnel on the premises have left an indelible or imperishable mark in my heart and mind.

Little late in the review was there Sept 2022. This is one of the most wonderful places we have had the good fortune to stay for about a week. Our home base while touring Tuscany. Frankly you will not want to leave the gorgeous grounds. Heading up to the hotel feels like your arriving at a good friends home that just happens to have an entire small italian village to themselves. From arrival to a sad departure our every whim was met. Staff incredible, kind, friendly and genuine to make sure your stay is nothing but perfection. our suite, wow! we don’t leave for a few days. Like having our own villa with a private deck overlooking the beautiful tuscan valley. Quite, serene, inviting, luxurious. Perfection ! Food was excellent as well. Wine and access to wineries, easy and close. Want a car for the day, covered, rental access available. Nothing like top down driving the tuscan roads. Want a reccomendation on non touristy spots, covered. An amazing experience start to finish, grateful to have had the chance. Thank you staff for a truely memorable experience.

Castiglion Del Bosco is a magical property! My husband and I truly enjoyed every minute of our stay! The service was exceptional from concierge staff, food service, drivers, & pool attendants. The activities that were planned for us by the concierge were enjoyable and fun. We were able to enjoy a Truffle Hunt & Pasta Making Class.Transportation to and from was coordinated effortlessly when we left the property. The car was always filled with cold drinks and amenities. The food and beverage on the property is delicious! The Concerige team was very accommodating to adjustments of our dining reservations, after all vacation is for relaxing! I’f we wanted to adjust a time or switch a reservation they accommodated us! We were also able to enjoy the spa. I was very impressed the the services & products used. The gift shop on property is delightful! It’s carefully curated and filled with beautiful items. Our room was exceptional! Small details from the staff each night made it even more special. We can’t wait to come back to Tuscany!
