We had a wonderful 10 day stay here. The location is perfect, so quiet and only $5 by taxi to town or the bus (50cents) The rooms are so spacious and beds very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious, fresh juice, croissant, fruit, eggs. Jose, Lis and Marie are so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

I booked the GALÃPAGOS MARINE WILDLIFE 6 DAYS/5 NIGHTS FOUR DIFFERENT ISLANDS with Get Travel Galápagos and it was a huge success! It is a fantastic program. The family owning the Hotel Twin is super nice and goes above and beyond to make the tour a good experience, and when one of the excursions was cancelled due to a engine failure they were swift at helping to arrange a new tour! The food is homemade and delicious. The hotel is placed a bit outside Puerto Ayora but I liked the calm atmosphere - and a taxi is only 5 dollars. There is a small language barrier with Jose but the daughter Mary does very well in informing and explaining everything in English. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Do Not Ever Stay at This Hotel
This is a horrible hotel. The WiFi doesn’t work even though they mentioned it would provide WiFi. The room and dining room were full of insects. The owner of the hotel is not a friendly person. When my boyfriend and I complained about the WiFi and the insects being everywhere, Maria Jose, the owner made a bunch of excuses. My boyfriend and I asked for a refund and Maria Jose overreacted and said that it was impossible to give a refund and she didn’t want to do it. My boyfriend and I got scammed.

Booked for 2 nights and 3 days . Owner was responsive over emails and chat . They try to upswell a lot of tours and just ignore . Pros Place is out of the city 6 miles , so silent Breakfast ok Cons All activities happen in the town which is 6 miles away. So prepare to shell out 5 bucks each way per one way trip No places to eat near this hotel , this is the only building We bought 2 tours and both turned out disastrous. They don’t coordinate with actual guides and show different brochures than the actual trip . I can call it cheating without hesitation. Find trips in town Work out with cabs directly as the cabs called by hotel are sleazy and upsell and demand more than agreed upon There are 100s in puerto ayora and pick one instead of spending time and money here

The property is located far off from main area. You need to get off and on using a cab, for 3 days add another 30 bucks for cab. ******* needs to throw this property out of their listing and i would blame ******* that showed this property for the area i am searching.
A 20 year old kid is left scrmabling dealing with customers . We had multiple issues
1. Check - In was ok
2. Booked a trip thru hotel and it turned out to be a disaster. The owner Jose sold something and when we went to island, the guides had differrent itinery and threatened to leave us on the island when we asked for the promised tour. I did not get a refund from Jose.. Pure and simple cheating

Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que venga a Ecuador por primera vez. Después de disfrutar de Puerto Aoya en las Galápagos, se puede entrar en contacto con la vida de los lugareños en el restaurante y supermercado Bellavista. El hotel se encuentra en un lugar tranquilo y relajante. Para llegar a Puerto Aoya, recomendamos alquilar una bicicleta y coger el autobús de vuelta al túnel por 50¢. El personal es amable.

El hotel Twin es un paraíso de naturaleza y paz. Está rodeado de un oasis de vegetación que emana un agradable perfume por la noche y a primera hora de la mañana. Pero sin lugar a dudas, lo mejor de todo es la atención que brinda el señor José y su familia. Muchas gracias por esta maravillosa experiencia.
