Fergus Puerto de la Cruz

I've stayed for 8 nights with my family. Check in was a little laborious after such a long journey but all reception staff were lovely. The rooms were clean and had everything you needed e.g. Fridge, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, safe. The housekeeping team kept the rooms spotless during our stay. The food was very good for an All Inclusive. Meal times were very busy in the restaurant. At each meal there was a good array of dishes and all the restaurant staff work hard. The bar staff were great. Brilliant, friendly service. The pool was cleaned fastidiously each morning which prevented sunbed wars. The entertainment team worked throughout the days to bring fun to the poolside and in the evenings. I loved this hotel and 100% would stay again

We’ve just arrived back from a lovely week at Fergus. On our first day we did a walking tour of the town with Bruna which was really informative and she showed us some really great spots to check out during our stay. We stopped for a coffee halfway and it really helped us scope out the area. If you’re heading to this hotel it is a must do! The hotel itself was stunning. The cleaners worked non stop to make sure that every area of the hotel was spotless including around the pools. We spent most of our time around the bottom pool as we enjoyed joining in with the daytime activities with the animation team. We had great rapport with Bruna and Fabio and they always made sure everyone around the pool was having fun whether they joined in or not. If no one wanted to do a certain activity, they adjusted the schedule to something everyone wanted to do. If you didn’t feel like joining in there was a second pool at the top of the hotel which was much more chilled and it had the option to hire day beds for a more exclusive feel. We never struggled to find sunbeds. Even if the bottom pool was busy, there were plenty at the second pool. The evening entertainment usually involved a game of bingo followed by a live act and some music to finish. We especially enjoyed the belly dancers and circus act! The buffet restaurant had food available almost all day. Nothing outstanding but we managed to find things to eat every day, but as an all inclusive this is what we expected. The team in the restaurant also worked incredibly hard and it was always kept clean and tidy and we were always greeted with a smile. The all inclusive drinks were available from 11am to 11pm all day and included beer, wine, spirits and cocktails. Our room was spacious and clean, we had a standard room and our view was of the pool and Mount Teide and rooms on the opposite side of the hotel had sea views so it’s a win win either way. Puerto Del La Cruz itself is stunning. It’s full of windy lanes and little shops and the walls are covered in artwork. The front is beautiful and we spent a day at the beachfront pools which was lovey. Although it’s a quieter town than those in the south we still found places to drink late at night. There is a bus that goes to Loro Parque from the promenade for free and I would definitely recommend doing this as a day out. The only negative of our stay was school groups that stayed during our time there. During the day they were out but they stormed the pool on arrival back to the hotel on one day to the point that we had to escape to the other pool. They were rude during meal times but if you got down to the restaurant before 8pm they didn’t cause any issues. They were however very noisy during the night but I think this affected us more as we were directly underneath their rooms. All in all we had an amazing week and if we were to return to the north of Tenerife we would 100% stay at Fergus again! Thank you for a great break Bruna, Fabio and the rest of the
