Bit closer to 80+ than 18+ by demographic but a lovely hotel with good staff and excellent levels of cleanliness and attentiveness

Room was well equipped with necessities. But it wasn’t as spacious, balcony was there. Location id really good and have friendly staff. View from the hotel was AMAZING.

Really nice staff, yet quite noisy at any time...The walls and balcony doors are just useless...could hear maintenance sound of the terrace, peole chatting, and even TV programs from the next room all night...

Hotel location is right on the front of a pedestrianised walkway,easy access via a few steps or a ramp. Reception area huge and to be honest,not very awe inspiring by its decor,but don't let that put you off! Rooms offer twin or double beds,large wall mounted t.v. which receives,as well as the usual Spanish and other nationality channels,also gets basic English channels(BBC1/2/4,ITV1/2/3/4,Film 4).Two double wardrobes including shelves,plenty hanging space but no drawers.Great sea facing balcony. Electric kettle, tea,coffee and sugar provided and replenished. Bathroom includes a bidet and a very powerful, easily regulated shower in the bath,liquid soap,shampoo and conditioner included. Rooms cleaned daily,bedsheets changed halfway through the week,bath/hand towels when requested. We had paid a bit extra for a premium double room,which included a balcony with a sea view,safety deposit box,mini fridge(fair size),ceiling fan and air con unit(silent),all included in price of the room. Mealtimes are buffet style,breakfast(7-10),Lunch(1-3) and Dinner(6;30-9;30).We were half board and found all the breakfasts and dinners were varied,catered for everyone and where,by and large, on the whole tasty, Garden area of hotel well tended and one could sit in shade or sunshine around this area. Concert room with bar offered varied shows of an evening,though a few were postponed whilst we were there due to the Football World Cup. Was pleasantly surprised to find beer and wine prices were very reasonable and in most cases cheaper than the bars and restaurants in the vicinity,very unusual for a hotel! Also spirits and cocktails available,but as my wife and I don't drink these,can't comment. Pool area is enclosed,plenty of loungers and parasols around,lifeguard on duty during pool hours,poolside bar for drinks,snacks,ice creams etc.. Although at first sight the area doesn't look big enough for the size of the hotel,it is! A solarium to just sunbathe on is situated on a balcony one floor up an exterior staircase, Hotel other atributes include a gym and an outdoor recreation area with a giant "connect 4 game,ring toss,table tennis,chessboard and pieces amongst other "games". Major criticism is that the hotel has 3 public elevators and especially during mealtimes,morning and evening,you can be waiting a while to access a lift! Review over,can honestly say that next time on this side of the Island,I would book here again....think it's a gem.

Hotel Catalonia Las Vegas, Tenerife Really good points: Amazing location, super comfortable beds and house keeping cleaned daily the poolside activity coordinators were brilliant !!! The team really are fantastic and a credit to the hotel. Bad points: Food was a disappointment, mundane, repetitive and barely warm. The menu seemed exactly the same both weeks, almost no changes. We stayed here two years ago and the food was so much better then ,Standards in our opinion have gone down. Worst of all: Guests above us used our balcony as an ashtray, flicking ash and cigarette ends down on to our seating area ,We complained to the manager who spoke to them and he gave us a bottle of Brut. But unfortunately they had total disregard for us and the conversion the hotel manager had with them and carried on for the rest of our holiday, which was 8 days. When we complained again, the receptionist just asked, “What do you want us to do?” We suggested moving them to a room with their own balcony, but nothing was done.Photos just don’t capture as much ash or cigarette butts we had dropped onto balcony First 6 days were good despite the food, but the cigarette and ash issue ruined it. We sadly won’t be returning .I travelled with my partner we stayed for 2 weeks .

Staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is brilliant, lots of choice and it’s constantly changing. The restaurant staff are likewise helpful and friendly, special shout out to Oliver, Maria and Logane ( there are others as well, can’t remember everyone’s name. Rooms are clean and tidy. Hotel feels a little tired in places. Nice pool area, plenty of sun loungers and it gets the sun all day !!
