Hotel Monopol
"Great location near lots of restaurants (even vegan and vegetarian restaurants), cafes and bars, supermarkets are down the road. Nice and close to the ocean. My room was a bit worn, however a good place to rest my head at the end of the day. Some beautiful Christmas lights up in the entrance."
Hotel Puerto Palace
"Good value for money. Great dinner."
Hotel AF Valle Orotava
"The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Plaza del Charco. The spacious room has a large terrace with artificial grass, perfect for relaxing in the afternoons. It also has a mini-fridge and a very practical kettle for coffee or tea. The swimming pool is on the 6th floor and has a well-equipped bar and snack bar with comfortable sun loungers and cushions for relaxing. I really liked everything. The gym has ample equipment, including an elliptical trainer, weights, rowing machines, etc. The breakfasts were varied, and the coffee was good."
Radisson Resort And Residences Tenerife
"5 star resort, rooms beautiful, pool amazing. Best breakfast we have had, cava/mimosa’s, fresh honey from the comb, all staff wonderful."
Apartamentos Casablanca
"We had a great time! Thank you very much!"
Sol Puerto de La Cruz
"GOOD."
Catalonia Las Vegas - Adults Only
"Returned home yesterday from this lovely hotel we had a 10 night stay this was our first visit to Catalonia Las Vegas after a relative recommended the hotel and we were not disappointed we will definitely return in the future from our initial arrival we were greeted at reception by Anay explained procedure and given room keys all done quickly and efficiently although we had requested a high floor we were given low floor when I mentioned this to Anay she said we wouldn't be disappointed and she was right our room was lovely it was cleaned daily everything what we needed was available in the room maid service was very good. Restaurant, Bars, Pool all the staff too many to mention were all welcoming and helpful the food was good always something to choose from with good variety and if there wasn't there are plenty of nearby restaurants, tapas bars even Macdonalds right outside not that we used it but it looked very popular all in all we never had any problems and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back some areas need a bit of updating as with anywhere but the maintenance team, and pool staff kept all the areas clean and in working order thanks to Jonathan at reception he was very nice and helpful see you Las Vegas sometime in the future."
Hotel Atlantic Mirage Suites & Spa - Adults Only
"Breathtaking views, variety of food, love the rooftop, and just everything was pretty and clean."
Silken Saaj Maar- Adults Only
"Overall, a very good hotel: clean, friendly staff, and located in the city center in the pedestrian area. We didn't try the restaurant, but we did go to the rooftop: the view is absolutely beautiful, and the cocktails made by Virginia are delicious. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't have private parking, but there's a very large free parking area just a 5-minute walk away."

Hotel Best Semiramis
"The Wi-Fi in this hotel is unbelievably slow — like a turtle on vacation. Even loading a basic webpage takes forever. Totally unacceptable in 2025. The reception service was equally disappointing. I called from my room asking for a simple spoon, and the receptionist told me to get it from the bar. At first, I thought they meant the minibar — only to realize later that the room doesn’t even have one. There’s just a basic fridge, nothing else. I tried calling reception again, but no one answered. In the end, I had to go all the way down to the lobby and find another staff member just to get a spoon. To make things worse, the hotel wasn’t even busy — yet they still assigned me a room at the very end of the corridor, as far from the elevator as possible. That decision made absolutely no sense and showed a complete lack of consideration for guest convenience. This place is nowhere near 5-star quality. The furniture is basic, the decoration is outdated, and even essentials like a kettle require an extra rental fee. This hotel has no real service, no luxury, and no charm. Avoid unless you’re okay with a 2-star experience at 5-star prices."
Hotel Marquesa
"The location near to the heart of the old town is superb as is the history of the hotel, one of the original grand houses before being turned into a hotel. Our room was basic but comfortable and cleaned, towels refreshed every day. We found the staff at the front desk very helpful, with a couple of great suggestions for day’s activities and the restaurant staff as well. Breakfast hat hot and cold options and plenty to choose from although a bit of a queue at the coffee machines. The tables outside for drinks or food were fine as well. Would definitely come back to this hotel, with quirky history & great location over one of the anymore blocks."
Be Live Adults Only Tenerife
"Three friends, in our 40’s, looking forward to a fun ‘adult only’ weekend away but were really disappointed as there was no atmosphere in the hotel, no music around the pool or bar and we were easily the youngest guests (by about 30 years). The rooms, although dated & run down, were clean & comfortable. The staff were nice & friendly. The food wasn’t good - the breakfast buffet was cold (we were there only an hour after opening) and the dinner was just ok. Not a great selection of ‘snacks’ at the pool bar either and ice creams weren’t included in the ‘all inclusive’, which was disappointing. Unfortunately there wasn’t much happening in the area either - everything seemed to be closed so early. Good if you’re only looking for a relaxing time, but not if you’re looking for a more fun/lively time."
Apartamentos la Carabela
"The worse hotel ever .stay at porta la cruz la carabella .fire hazzaed 6 of went 10 june till 24 .up on hill when I already stated I can't do steps .hotel was dirty mattresses riped .bar for coffee or teas shut .fighting every night in other appartments only 1 staff on a time no rep so unable to get help .dead pigeon was on roof outside appartment was there for 11 days .rubbish all outside the hotel sun roof not usable carpets and broken chairs up there dirty .smell from toilets of sewerage. 3 of us had accidents I fell on metal steps going to pool had to go on fire escape to access the pool my granddaughter fell broken ridge between balcony doors. My other granddaughter had her big toenail ripped of because the plastic ridge around pool was broken .shoer over flooded as glass panel was missing .the kitchen had 1 plug in it was behind the microwave we had to lift it of in order to use kettle which we waited 2 days for toaster was broken .the door of appartpent was in the way of cooker .fire hazzard .the complete holiday ruined .I was totally sold the wrong holiday. I asked was it flat it wasn't it had a dangerous slope to enter hotel they shut pool at 6 .shut down pool table at 9 .no bar where you could buy coffee or etc.smell was horrendous."
Tui Blue Atlantic Hills
Gran Hotel Taoro
"The Hotel first opened in 1890 but closed in 1976 and now reopened in 2025. I think I was hoping for some of the oppulance from the 19th century, unfortunately that is not the case in its refurbishment. That being said, what you do have is a 5 star modern hotel with outstanding customer service in an enviable position above Puerto de la Cruz with three restaurants offering a great selection of local and international cuisine. My room rate included dinner and breakfast. Dinner was in the Amalur Restaurant and each course was delicious and worthy of a 5 star review. Breakfast was not at the same level as the food at dinner but did offer the normal selections of hot and cold choice ytou would expect. I stayed in an Ocean view room where the view was spectacular. I did not have the best nights sleep as I struggled to get a temperature in the room that was best do achieve that. The hotel does offer a pillow menu and would encourage anyone that has a favourite pillow type at home to take advantage of this. The hotels swimming pools and terraces are beautifully laid out with an amazing view of Mount Tiede. I struggled to navigate around the hotel to find my room, the restaurants and the pool area, as currently there is no customer signage, however the staff explained that this work in progess. I had a wonderful time and hope to return in the future when everything is running flawlessly."
Meliá Costa Atlantis Tenerife
"Honestly can’t fault our stay here at all. The staff are super helpful and friendly, we decided to enquire about the upgrade on check in and went with it, definitely worth it for the room view alone but the tapas and drinks are a great touch! Tapas is served from 4-6 along with the top shelf spirits and the breakfast is till 11 and worth going down for as I’m not really a buffet person so this suited me. They normally close the level bar around 9 but we just topped our wines up and headed up to the balcony. My only concern with the tapas is they refresh it a lot and then take it all in at 6 even if it’s still full. It seems a bit of a waste and really should just be left out for people to snack on and finish. Seems less wasteful. We did have one issue during our stay and it was where our room was situated we could hear the lift all night going into the morning. The staff couldn’t have been quicker to rectify this and we had moved rooms within the hour. There was enough sun lounges during the day and we found that by midday due to the hotels location we were in the shade but no issues there’s plenty to do and we took ourselves out on walks. The rooms are lovely and clean and the balcony views are beautiful. Overall would go back and would 100% recommend the level upgrade as we would do that again."
RF San Borondon
"The hotel is in a good location and the reception staff are very friendly. Our biggest complaint was that the room was very hot and didn't have air conditioning; instead, there was a small fan that didn't help much. They also don't provide towels for the pool. It's questionable whether it's a four-star hotel."
Hotel Botanico y Oriental Spa Garden
"Location: It is quite convenient to get there. At the time, I thought it was a pity that it was not close to the sea, but it is actually not necessary. Facilities: It should be considered okay. Although there are not as many and big resort hotels in this place, it is also an LHW member after all. It should not be bad. Environment: After all, it’s been a while, but fortunately it’s neat and clean and not that new. Service: The main thing is the service, which is very good. The spa is also okay, just steaming and room temperature swimming pool🏊. The rating on Google is also higher than others, but it is not as big as I expected, the room is standard, and the price is a bit high."
Hotel Tigaiga
"A wonderful hotel- lovely atmosphere. The staff on reception are so helpful. I liked the location as I hired a car- parking was easy (car park or near park) and it was near the roads out of Puerto so very easy to navigate. Teide facing room was lovely. They put a fridge and kettle in on request. Pool was a little chilly although it was heated. Sunbeds- plenty. Breakfast was fantastic. So helpful at giving me a breakfast at 06:00 am on one day. I scored it 4 only because I found the half board dinner a little bland and not to my liking. This is purely personal however and everyone seemed to really enjoy it. The salad bar was lovely. I will return but will stay bed and breakfast next time. Felt v comfortable as a solo traveller."
