We are at the hotel now it is a smallish hotel but perfectly formed very cute very friendly everyone speaks to each other the staff are great especially Aida she is so funny & friendly it is both my husbands & my birthdays while we are here I had emailed the hotel to ask for room upstairs overlooking the pool not really expecting it as we booked standard room but they upgraded us on arrival & also a lovely bottle of cava in room for my husbands birthday yesterday most unexpected but much appreciated would definitely return to this lovely hotel

Visited with friends for a week in March. We were given 2 rooms on the ground floor. Rooms 101 and 104. Both rooms basic but clean, could do with a bit of an update but ok. All was well until the next day when we went into the bathroom. There was a horrendous smell of drains that filled the bathroom and was very strong. This was the case in our friends room too. We reported it and a man was sent who put a liquid into the sink and bath which remedied the problem for a few hours. Unfortunately our bathrooms remained smelling really bad for the whole holiday, put a bit of a dampener on the week. The hotel itself was very clean, the staff were lovely and very friendly. There were always sunbeds around the pool but we chose to use a sun terrace that was situated near to our rooms as it was very quiet and a suntrap. Food was ok but was sometimes cold or luke warm. We hadn't paid alot for the break so couldnt complain. There was entertainment every night but we chose to go out as there were many restaurants and bars within walking distance and the beach was only 2 minutes walk away. Unfortunately we will not return as the smell in the rooms has put us off. In saying this the hotel staff can't be faulted and the hotel is kept very clean. If the problem that we experienced had been sorted we would have returned as the hotel is good value for money.

What can I say apart from this hotel is amazing! We are here at the moment but are sadly going home later today. Our room has been fab, it overlooks the pool/sea, with a mountain view to the back. We have nothing but praise for all the hard working staff, from the lovely receptionists to the amazing Aida, who is in charge of entertainment. She deserves a special mention, as she is fabulous at what she does! She is friendly, warm and very approachable. She has just the right amount of encouragement but is never pushy and totally understands if you want to just relax! Food has been great, only a small-ish restaurant, but everything hot and tasty, again, the chefs are all so friendly, the man who does the eggs and omelette in the morning is lovely! All-in-all, the Pocillos Playa Hotel gets 10/10 from us! We will definitely be back, Thank you for a lovely holiday!

Lovely 5 night stay. Hotel is clean, compact and staff are hard working and ensure you have the best stay. A great choice of food every evening - we went all inclusive but nothing to stop you going out and enjoying many of the nearby restaurants. A solid 9/10 for sure.

This is our first time here, and the hotel is very nice. The place is spotless. The food is a little limited but the quality is very good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Aida, the entertainer made us fall in love with her. She invites people to enjoy themselves!!

Wonderful entertaintment courtesy of Aida Room small but suitable but not enough storage. Mini fridge very poor, did report to receptionist but not much help there. Food good and plentiful, hot food could be warmer, but microwave available to reheat. Drinks are amazing and never ending and available until midnight. Pool was great but steps are very slippery, I actually slipped and fell whilst entering and hurt my elbow. Despite the negatives would definitely visit again as the staff made it well worthwhile!

Quiet, safe adult only hotel which was perfect for what we needed! Staff are helpful and nice. We stayed in a ground floor room with a sun trap terrace which was lovely. Beds not very comfy but the room was spacious. The bathroom had problems with drainage but we were only there for 3 nights so we lived with it okay. Pool was cold and didn't feel heated but again no problem for us. Food is okay and lots of snacks through the day with the all inclusive option which surprisingly also included a very delicious prosecco! The hotel is a short ＜5 mins walk from the beach and row of shops. The hotel also has a spa but we felt the spa lady was quite pushy so we unfortunately didn't use the facilities (steam room, jacuzzi, ice pool) although we were looking forward to it. Aida puts on daily entertainment which you can join in if you wish - we preferred the style she approached the guests with compared to the spa lady and joined in with the yoga and games in the evening. An overall lovely stay!

This is our 3rd visit to this hotel. Even though the food and facilities have always been good, my husband and I feel the food was even better this time. The staff are aways very friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean, beds made every day. Clean towels every 2 days. It's a great location to get to Puerto Del Carmen , Playa Blanca and Arricuffe. Busses are very frequent. Aida was the entertainment organiser and she was fantastic. Previous years entertainment not been as good..

Lovely wee Hotel with brilliant staff, the new year gala dinner was one of the best we have had. (Hats off to all the catering staff ) It was also premium drinks, no rubbish The entertainment wasn't the best, but the ambience of the hotel made up for it. Would we go back! Not right away, but certainly in the future . Thanks to all the staff in the hotel pocillos playa
