This is a very well ran and clean complex, but it wont be for everyone, so read my review to see if its for you. I will give my honest review and observations, I will not be using statement like would not return, terrible etc, as my belief for reviews is to provide facts and you make your own mind up, to many reviews are now just people ranting and trying to point score against establishments and these are unfair to hospitality businesses trying to survive in these difficult trading times. Use the information and decide if its for you Location Complex is at the back of Matagorda, up a bit of a hill, it is about 5 to 10 minute walk straight down to promenade. The complex is very nice a bit like a small Spanish style village, very pretty, however it is all different levels with sloping pathways etc, so in my opinion this and the uphill location , I think would make it unsuitable if you have walking difficulties . Five minutes from complex there is a small retail complex with bars and restaurants, right on the seafront, there are some more bars and restaurant about 10 minutes walk to the right, after these you are a good mile probably to the start of Puerta del Carmen, but buses and taxis are readily available. The area is very quiet and not lively the same as PDC, so decide if thats what you want before coming to this area. Accommodation We had a 1 bedroom apartment with balcony, ground floor, this got the sun most of the day The apartment were spotless, nice clean spacious bathroom, decent kitchen and sitting area. Massive big comfy bed , good storage and room safe (12 euros for week, 6 euros deposit which you get back} Massive balcony about 10 foot by 10 foot, 2 chairs and a table with a built in concrete bench against one wall. Kitchen area more that adequate but we didn't use anything apart from the kettle as we were all inclusive. I must at this stage emphasise the cleaning crew, they do a magnificent job the rooms and grounds etc were spotless and they were constantly being cleaned. If you want to look carefully, yes you will fins some marks on furniture etc but this is a 2/3 star complex so perhaps tired at bits but certainly not dirty. Food We were all inclusive Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks available at the pool bar. The restaurant is fairly big but not massive, at times it could be almost full at other times not even half full, so really down to what time you go and also perhaps the time of the year you go In the restaurant you self serve, wines, sangria, beer, water and soft drinks, hot drinks at breakfast only, although you can get hot drinks at any time at the pool bar or at night in the entertainment bar. Layout is the usual for A/I style of service, hot and cold serveries. The serveries are fairly compact with only one of each choice out and most is not double sided, so it can be a bit busy to get in to your food but no great issues. Food choices, now I have to be quite honest here, food is my business and career so I take a
