For a 3 star apartment, 5 of us went 20th -27th March 2025 we found it very adequate. Food was nice, variety of different dishes. A good selection of drinks but not sure they are true alcohol volumes. I'm not a big drinker so I was expecting a few hangovers. This didn't happen. The rooms was clean & tidy. Lovely white sheets. It had a little kitchenette for if you wasn't all inclusive. The bad things about the room we had about 15 steps to climb & the beds was hard. Around the hotel it was clean & tidy. Very pretty and you would feel safe if you travelled alone. The entertainment team try their best but we did find that scores refected better for the Spanish or French. We actually got 17/20 in a movie quiz but lost to about 12 French people who got 16/20. Wifi free in reception only. The beach is about a 5-10 min walk with a few bars, shop and restaurant. It's 10 minutes from the airport. For what we paid we was pleasantly surprised. It's no 4 or 5 star but we would come back. If you are wanting caviar and chandlers it's not for you.

Entertainment is amazing and entertainers you can’t fault. Food is good and reception is very helpful when I lost my key twice. The view from the apartment was amazing and watching the planes in the evening was almost magical. Would definitely come again :).

This is a very well ran and clean complex, but it wont be for everyone, so read my review to see if its for you. I will give my honest review and observations, I will not be using statement like would not return, terrible etc, as my belief for reviews is to provide facts and you make your own mind up, to many reviews are now just people ranting and trying to point score against establishments and these are unfair to hospitality businesses trying to survive in these difficult trading times. Use the information and decide if its for you Location Complex is at the back of Matagorda, up a bit of a hill, it is about 5 to 10 minute walk straight down to promenade. The complex is very nice a bit like a small Spanish style village, very pretty, however it is all different levels with sloping pathways etc, so in my opinion this and the uphill location , I think would make it unsuitable if you have walking difficulties . Five minutes from complex there is a small retail complex with bars and restaurants, right on the seafront, there are some more bars and restaurant about 10 minutes walk to the right, after these you are a good mile probably to the start of Puerta del Carmen, but buses and taxis are readily available. The area is very quiet and not lively the same as PDC, so decide if thats what you want before coming to this area. Accommodation We had a 1 bedroom apartment with balcony, ground floor, this got the sun most of the day The apartment were spotless, nice clean spacious bathroom, decent kitchen and sitting area. Massive big comfy bed , good storage and room safe (12 euros for week, 6 euros deposit which you get back} Massive balcony about 10 foot by 10 foot, 2 chairs and a table with a built in concrete bench against one wall. Kitchen area more that adequate but we didn't use anything apart from the kettle as we were all inclusive. I must at this stage emphasise the cleaning crew, they do a magnificent job the rooms and grounds etc were spotless and they were constantly being cleaned. If you want to look carefully, yes you will fins some marks on furniture etc but this is a 2/3 star complex so perhaps tired at bits but certainly not dirty. Food We were all inclusive Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks available at the pool bar. The restaurant is fairly big but not massive, at times it could be almost full at other times not even half full, so really down to what time you go and also perhaps the time of the year you go In the restaurant you self serve, wines, sangria, beer, water and soft drinks, hot drinks at breakfast only, although you can get hot drinks at any time at the pool bar or at night in the entertainment bar. Layout is the usual for A/I style of service, hot and cold serveries. The serveries are fairly compact with only one of each choice out and most is not double sided, so it can be a bit busy to get in to your food but no great issues. Food choices, now I have to be quite honest here, food is my business and career so I take a

I visited the Morromar for a week with my dad. We booked all inclusive as it was only £100 extra per person. We found the staff all very friendly and hard working. Our room was large for 2 people with a lovely shower. The room was equipped for self catering with a toaster, kettle, iron, fridge freezer and cooking facilities. The pools were very clean. They open at 10am and no towel rush before this time. There were still beds available throughout the day. The food was very nice with lots of choice for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. One thing to improve would be the snack bar by pool, which is really for kids, was fairly limited and occasionally, lukewarm. Overall, a fantastic stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Just returned from a night a/i stay here.check in was fast and reception staff very friendly.we had to pay for wifi which would be my biggest complaint surely if you are all inclusive this should be included.we were given room 329 which was just across from the bar.yes it can be a bit loud but music goes off at 11pm sharp.found the food ok the best being breakfast and lunch.evening meals were not so good to be honest.the staff were friendly enough.the rooms were big but no air con not that we needed it with the rain we experienced lol.there was a kettle toaster.fridge and 2 hob cooker if you fancied rustling something up.theres an iron(which didnt work)and ironing board.a few english speaking channels mainly news.i figured out how to change any original speaking films and programmes back to english if dubbed to spannish which was handy when we were rained in.overall an enjoyable stay.a big thanks to all the staff who were always friendly enough with us and never stopped working.forgot to mention the onsite shop which was was handy for beers.water crisps etc.dont think i would return here all inclusive but would think about self catering.

This is a great little place, they are busy doing up the hotel and rooms, it looks lovely. The pools are clean and great for kids, we have none with us but the ones that are here are having a whale of a time. There is plenty in terms of food and drink variety & it's very good, the snack bar is also in for most of the day and it's stocked, all the staff are great and they work really hard to deliver. I can honestly say it's a fab place! The entertainment is the same as any other hotel and if that's not your cup of tea head over to the commercial centre nearby,..out of the back gate and through the park, it's full of bars and restaurants. If you have kids go to rockafellas to watch the karaoke, it's a cracking bar and kids are welcome.failing that head to PDC centre....We have absolutely nothing to complain about, we've had a great time. Well done team livvo

We stayed for 5 nights 2 friends. The apartment was one of the cleanest & loveliest I have stayed in! For a 3* it was amazing! Beds lovely, nice TV. Bathroom immaculate. We stayed in 602. The complex is quite big. Swimming pools are very cold but lovely. 2 areas one up one down personally preferred the lower ground as it was nice and peaceful. If you like food & drink you’ll be in your element there is unlimited food. I like Cava and that’s on the AI too! The snacks by the bar were Chips Pizza Selection of ham, cheese Bread Sandwich maker Hotdogs Selection of pastries Squid It’s insane! I’m not a big eater so didn’t use the AI that much. I never went to breakfast Lunch was my fav.. Dinner bit hit and miss but always something for everyone we went out for dinner a couple of nights. I can recommend Matagorda commercial centre Pride of India & Hong Kong! We hired cycles for a day €12 it was fab to cycle to PDC centre.. I can also recommend Electric Island a bar with a brilliant live band in the old town PDC Matagorda is quite a way from PDC town but only €7 in a taxi which you can get from behind the hotel. I’ll definitely return! I personally liked the Matagorda area… much more chilled x

Just had a 6 night stay here with my husband and has been a lovely holiday, perfect weather. Pool was lovely to get in to when you start baking ha! Apartments were great loads of space, bed was comfy and fresh towels everyday The only downfall is the food not much of a choice, but you can’t expect everything there for a 3 star (Breakfast was the best part) We did a submarine ride in Puerto del Carmen which was great, deffo recommended. Overall apart from the food it’s a great place to stay!

Nice place if you are looking for somewhere quiet. We had a ground floor room across from the restaurant and bar. Suited us as I have restricted mobility. Mini supermarket on site. Reasonably priced. Food was ok, all buffet. No drinks included in half board. 5 Euros for two people got u as many drinks as you wanted in the restaurant with Ur dinner, and one drink in the bar till 9.30pm. Staff were all luvly. Entertainment on every evening till around 11pm. Breakfast 7.30am till 10.30am and dinner was 6.30pm till 9.30pm. We were half board. Pool bar served snacks.
