Food was terrible and there was raccoons running in and out of the restaurants one was even in the cooking area. I came here in 2017 I will never return. It’s like Chilligans island.

very good for the price point. minor things could be fixed. housekeeping did an excellent job every day. mini fridge always filled. food sort of average. coffee was horrible.

The property is nice but a little tired. The rooms could use some updating. We had showers that leaked and sometimes didn't work at all. Lower level rooms smelled musty and although they did bring in humidifiers that didn't help. The staff/service throughout the property is great but we found the front desk service lacking. They do not have enough help at the front desk to deal with issues and wait times were incredibly long. We felt we wasted so much time trying to resolve room issues and getting our bracelet/room keys reprogrammed. We were promised upgrades that never happened. It was frustrating. We were a group of 17 and my parents had been there twice before. After this experience, I'm not sure we'd go back.

If you fly into Cancun, it is easy to get to this property. If you fly into Cozumel, be prepared to get a taxi from the airport for a couple of miles and then have to take a ferry boat to the mainland. then you have to catch another taxi to get to this hotel. this will take at least a couple of hours total time. Nobody tells you this when you book the flight into Cozumel. I would definitely fly into Cancun if you are looking for a quick and easy way. Although if you want adventure, take the 40 minute ferry boat across the ocean. that was fun all in all. However, If there are windy conditions, the ferry will not run and you’ll be ABSOLUTELY STUCK WITHOUT TRANSPORTATION TO THE MAINLAND.

This is a beautiful beach front property. I have been going to Cancun for years and this hotels has gone to the top as one of the best. Most important the staff makes you feel very welcome and they go the extra mile to accommodate your needs. From beginning to end they provided a top notch experience. Special thanks to Katia (great customer service), she truly went the extra mile to accommodate our needs and take our experience to the next level. And to Javier (chef at Villa Marina - GREAT Surf and turf) for such a great experience. NOTE: I highly recommend the Mayan dinner.

I really enjoyed:
- the variety of activities/entertainment throughout the day… great staff as well;
- the quality and variety of restaurants.
I didn’t like:
- the lobby areas are super hot;
- the beach needs more regular cleaning (we collected quite a big amount of trash during our walks but not necessarily in the property area but very close);
- the room had a weird smell, like mold.
It’d also be great if the package includes transportation from/to the airport

The property was lovely. Everything was easily accessible. The grounds were well maintained and our room was great. The privilege lounge was a nice plus as it was close to the pool and beach so lunch was a quick walk.
My main complaint was the Wi-Fi, very unreliable in our room.

The food is good, the staff on the property are friendly and great but our experience with the front desk was frustrating . We were a group of 17 and had a total of 8 rooms. 3 rooms were musty smelling and had water that leaked from the shower area into hallway. We requested room changes, which the hotel was willing to do but the process took forever. They need more front desk staff. Every move took over an hour to complete. Lots of waiting in line just to get a new key. Also experienced several times where there would be no water in the shower. None at all.
