Overall pretty great experience! The rooms were clean, well maintained with only the exception of the shower soaps etc were empty but were filled on request. The restaurants alternated which 2 of the 3 were open. The Asian restaurant doesn’t allow children under a certain age (12?). This left us with the option of only one restaurant some nights as the buffet in the evening was not great (breakfast buffet was excellent). The grill at the pool was excellent; that guy worked HARD! The wait staff at the pool side worked hard too but were too few for the job, in my opinion. The only complaint we have is that we booked two rooms as my parents accompanied my family. We called several times in advance of our trip to request adjoining rooms or at least rooms on the same floor. This was basically ignored and took lengthy negotiations on the day of arrival. There were rooms, they just apparently can’t allocate in advance or something. We also requested a crib in advance and on arrival, this took multiple phone calls and hours but ultimately was fulfilled. I know they didn’t have to accommodate any of these requests so I’m grateful they did but it was not a good first experience on arrival (especially after the airport—what a ZOO!!). By day 2 we were having fun and enjoying the place. It was a good experience for my whole family, we look forward to going again.
