Could not make it to the hotel because one of the people in the party got very ill.
With your help we tried to change the date of stay, but the hotel refused, citing terms and conditions.
We will be going to that area of the Country again. We will not stay in that hotel

Staff and owner awful I would'nt recommend this hotel never, never, never to anyone 😡😡😡 BTW, It'snt in Bourg Madame (France), It's in Puigcerdà (Catalonia, Spain, ok? That's really a big problem, my friends! You know it... Spain is different (so bad); so, Catalonia is worst

A family trip to escape the heat of the plains this summer, and ended up here quiet by accident. A one-night stay edged to two and morphed into three as we became comfortable with the property and loved the environment around Puigcerda. The pool is great, the staff friendly and the restaurant very good ... I will return!

Superb restaurant but why is it not listed under restaurants? Note I had not stayed here but had booked a hotel in nearby Bourg Madame in France. However there was not a single restaurant open that evening in Bourg Madame. So I walked up the road towards Puigcerda and came across this hotel. There were also a couple of other restaurants nearby but they didn’t look attractive. I checked that’s they served non-residents and ordered the €27.50 menu. It was superb with so many potential choices that I fancied. I also ordered a bottle of reasonably priced Rioja Crianza which they kindly kept half back as I had already decided I would be back the following evening. I ended up eating there every evening of the five nights I stayed in Bourg Madame. It was only an 8 minute walk. I intend returning to stay at the hotel at some future date with my wife and possibly some friends. Possibly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, especially for the price. And I am well travelled.

I go a lot, I like it, of course it has its little things. This year they did not have the heated pool and I would have loved to take a swim. The reception depends on whether the person is pleasant or not.

The best hotel in Puigerdà! Familiar and welcoming. Surrounded by a large garden area, it offers a Spa and swimming pool. Its privileged location allows clients to carry out all types of recreational activities: hiking trails, mountain biking, skiing, and discover the authenticity of the towns and the natural environment of Cerdanya Montse, the director, she was super kind, we had a very good connection with her! From the beginning we felt at home. The hotel is great! nicely decorated. Especially now at Christmas, full of details. The rooms are very comfortable and warm, the bathroom was very clean and spacious with everything we need, shower, towels, gel, shampoo, hairdryer... The buffet breakfast was incredible! juices fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses, ham Delicious bakery and all kinds of breads. We have really enjoyed breakfast! Coffee, tea and milk chocolate, very good coffee! The best breakfast we have ever had! A lot of energy to start charging our batteries on our sku day. All the staff were super friendly. Iván and Magali answered my phone and their attitude is exceptional, they made everything very easy for us. It was a short but intense stay! We have to come back, for sure! Hotel el Prado is definitely a paradise in Puigerda! Thank you very much for the experience
